  2. I know one thing it does run smoother and faster with the Yamaha Star.
  3. A few weeks ago I traded my Indian Chieftain with a family member. He is also a Auto/Motorcycle Dealer NealKetnerMotors.com very happy with the deal. Anyway, felt like I needed too check out this 2013 Harley Road king put fresh oil, flush brake fluids and clutch fluid M/C. Oh, too my surprise look what I found under the chrome decorative clutch cover. Can this be? Must be a joint venture with Yamaha and Harley. Is it Is it a Yamaha Star Symbol sure looks like? I've always herd they were more Japannise parts than US parts on a Harley. Well, just going too tell all my $40.00 Black Tee Shirt friends about this discovery.
  4. Left hand carbide bits work great for this purpose but they are expensive.
  5. Beautiful bike, I can tell by viewing the pictures it must be a labor of love.
  6. If there is enough stud weld a nut on it and back it out with a wrench.
  7. I tried my cruise control out on my 13 Harley Road King today. It worked.....
  8. You said this incident occurred at Little Rock Ark. What kind of animal shoots someone point blank before a robery anyway? I'm certainly going too check this out thru their local news. Oh, Yammer Dan hope you told those SumBags some good nite stories before tucking them in for the night.....
  9. You really don't plan for an incident like that to happen but that's why it's called an accident. We all react different in different situations and luck and timing also play a part. If M/C riding was fool proof with no thrills occasionally, I wouldn't care to ride one.
  10. Very nice, beautiful country hope to see it someday.
  11. Very nice, I had to look twice looks a lot like a Harley Street Glide.
  12. Spray your air line fittings with windex glass cleaner to check system for air leaks. Most bad shocks leak oil instead of air.
  13. Probably in the passing lamp fuse holder. Check and clean both ends of the fuse.
  14. The drive shafts I've pulled on 2nd Gens had no oil on the splines just a little grease from Yamaha. This is why service should be performed every so often like every third tire change.
  15. Nice car, I especially liked his license tag "BYOPEK".
  16. Well I bet if I spent some time on the old inter-web there is still a half a dozen new 2011 Yamaha Ventures tuck away waiting to be sold. So why should Yamaha dump money in a mediocre seller. Just pickup one of these babies for 15 to 16k and ride it for 10 to 15 years.
  17. Just not enough bucks to be made in the touring market compared to the sport bike market. Anyway that V4 just lasts too long not enough repeat buyers.
  18. Sure can see how working on a Mustang and a Yamaha at the same time can be confusing.
  19. Just courious what have you found that's making all that clacking noise in your motor? My thoughts possibly a broken exhaust valve spring.
  20. Try loosing the two end screws slightly before you do any modifying. You can get those screws to tight and that will cause it too arch up in the middle.
  21. Hildo didn't have any trouble keeping his old Harley lit in the Vedio against that "Yamsukie". a
  22. Even though I own two Harley's I enjoy playing with the hardcore ones with my Honda VTX. Thing is a Harley Rider has to get off some money to out run a 1800 Honda VTX.
