  1. Retro Rollie, your welcome just remember too find or locate those s/s dust covers you removed and replace them before everything is button-up. They are easy to over look.
  2. If you haven't removed the front wheel remove it they are in a bind.
  3. Craigslist is full of scammers some are annoying and some are very serious in their intent. I have in the past informed the local FBI office here in Charollete NC. They always ask will I appear in court if they are brought to justice which I always say I will.
  4. Your absolutely right on clerks being able to count change. Just another sign of, Dumbing of Amercia.
  5. Dan you stood up as you were trained too do. It's drilled into you training has away of coming out in a situation like that.....
  6. This is a good reason to get your CCW permit and start packing. Got mine when I turned 65. The rear take down and hold will work but a bullet in the thigh is faster.
  7. Those look stock to me. They need to be longer than 7 inches to lower the rear of the bike.
  8. Speaking for myself I certainly would be interested in following your trailer build also there are probably others interested too.
  9. Rick, that is quite an improvement on the rear-end. For the money I probably would spring for a retro T bird with a hard convertible top with heat and a/c.
  10. I wish they would spend some money on the rear-end, just a wheel suspended out there in black out space. At least the Morgan rear-end is part of the body and the wheel is enclosed.
  11. Thanks for solving this age old mystery on here.
  12. Sorry to hear about your accident glad you and yours are recovering well. Deer are my worst nightmare they are so unpredictable. I'm a urban deer hunter, been known to kill them with a 9mm carbine and yes I like deer tenderloin.
  13. Nice looking Evo there good deal. Bet it has a good sound at idle.
  14. Good idea.
  15. Look under the classified here other bikes pm or call me if interested Honda VTX 1800 w/ Side Car frame.
  16. Just don't do as I did and got pulled for it that is sitting in the passenger seat stretched-out with my heels propped up on the handle bar-grips.
  17. I had an 06 Venture which was lowered front and back a full 1.5". Handling was improved greatly over the factory setup no more weaving back and forth taking off from dead stop or doing a balancing act at low speed going thru parking lots. Also, no effect at 90 to 100 plus mph. with a Dunlop rear tire which came on it or a Kumho C/T that was installed later. I wouldn't have performed this mod. on my bike or anyone else's bike if I hadn't fully tried this mod. out and felt comfortable with it. To lower on the back I used the Baron's Lowering Kit. Front was lowered by sliding the fork tubes up in the triple-tree an 1.5". By leveling the bike and lowering it from factory setting it was like nite and day in handling characteristics.
  18. It will slip thru the wind even faster with Harley mirrors installed.
  19. Try loosening the oil filter to see if oil runs out if it does retighten and start. If no oil runs out do not restart. If oil is present in filter only let idle for a minute too see if knock persist. If there wasn't a knock before you changed oil there shouldn't be one after changing oil.
  20. When she swung a leg across one, she was serious. Would liked too have seen her mount and dismount.
  21. Getting real close too 69 like next month. Still enjoy playing with the curves and yes I enjoy riding too.
  22. I don't no where in the heavens this Star Trek came from but it's there.
  23. Really looks great Boss. Now that you are 99% finished have I got a canvass for you and your creative mind a Honda 1800 VTX. I'm sure we can both work a deal out.
  24. Check out my ad in the classifieds. Have lowered several front and back I also service the rear end as a bonus.
