  1. I see a lot more ware in the middle of the tire myself.
  2. Heather, sorry too here about you and Big Red. We don't plan these events that's why their called accidents. Take care and ask plenty of questions about your surgery. You are in our thoughts.
  3. When I had my 06 Venture my two main gripes where: Yahama's setup of the bike too tall on front forks. Mono rear shock. I greatly improved low speed handling by leveling the bike. Lowered it front and back. I lived with the one shock on the rear. I'm a fan of duel air shocks on a touring bike. I also spent the time to install a tach. and gauges for engine info. With this said I've yet too find a perfectly factory built motorcycle. Been riding 50 years.
  4. Mopeds are a nuisance. I give them no respect on the road.
  5. Cool weather brings out the worst in a weak battery.
  6. I wouldn't touch this title with a monkey wrench.
  7. If I'm involved in a cell phone related accident and physically able I will politely walk over and grab the cell phone from the user and stomp the hell out of it.
  8. I don't remove the needle seat spray carb. cleaner it and use high pressure air to finish cleaning. Gumout is a good carb. cleaner.
  9. You should be ashamed putting your Mercedes thru such humiliation.
  10. Trump Hackers trying to swing the election by using the internet to breakin electronic voting machines.
  11. When I had my 06 Venture I ran a Kumo C/T for about a year. Need too try different tire pressures based on your handling and style riding charactics . Air pressure affected slow speed handling more than higher speed. Stopping actually was better. Laying into a curve was no noticeable difference with two up riding. I ran it up to over a hundred upon installation no wobble or knee slaps. Kumo did best at cornering at 42psi. The bikes I have now don't have the right size wheel size to allow running a C/T now. I would do it again if I had a 15" wheel on the back.
  12. Like the Bonnieville better especially the old 650's.
  13. I been told more than once I was hard headed. With that said I know my head is not as hard as the concrete or asfault road I'm crusing down. Law or no law I'm wearing one.
  14. I also made that comment to a female doctor and she said " Now is not a good time to be kidding with your Doctor".
  15. My copay on my insurance card says $50 but guess I got a discount today. Maybe because I didn't tell him this time, "this why you get paid the big bucks".
  16. I just got back from the Doctors office for the "Fickel Finger of Fate" everything is ok $45 copay. Yes, I'm a Vet. The gov. determined that I made too much for VA benefits so I got my own insurance. Now if my number comes up again to serve I'll tell too draft a gang member instead and we'll see how that works for them.
  17. Does running these tags help on insurance costs?

  19. I know she is being polite and means well. I tell her to have a good day too. But theirs nothing wrong with being called an "Old Fart" either bought all my friends are "Old Farts". Just another distinction for being above ground this long.
  20. Commander IIs on rear for sure a little harder compound but more miles. You are lucky too get back with tire not blowing.
  21. What really rubs me raw is when I go into a fast food joint and this little hottie behind the counter says, "How can I help You Sweetie". Really, I don't consider myself harmless yet. Bet if they got on the bike with me they would be calling me everything but Sweetie before we got back.
