  1. Yes, I felt their growing pains for about a year with my 14 Polaris Indian Chieftain which is long gone.
  2. Polaris messed up when they designed their on engine for the Indian. They have a good handling bike with a inferior engine and transmission. They should have used the S&S engine as Indian did before.
  3. I've owned both the Victory and the so called Polaris Indian they dropped the wrong bike. Engine and transmission design is superior in the Victory compared to the Polaris Indian. Polaris Indians shift hard when cold and spark knock even using premium gas when cold or hot.
  4. The later ones smooth out at about 30 mph. but you still have to put a foot down when you stop.
  5. Don, you are a deacated professional. Or has wackie weed been legalized in Ohio.
  6. Let's hope Yamaha has got past cassette player technology first before they go with using stand alone technology.
  7. I've done that found it like being stuck in a revolving door.
  8. Yes, that's about 10k less than what I paid for them.
  9. Well if you're still in the buying mood check out the classifieds here under other motorcycles. I got a two for one sell going on.
  10. I guess it probably is a M1 Carbine which would make a good threat stopper left as is.
  11. The twin turbos work good out in the country but thinking about an inner cooler for stop light to stop light riding. Get a little more punch and cooler air for that V4.
  12. Bah HumBug Winter sucks. The only thing good about it is Christmas and New Years Day. Looking forward too April and long rides on the Blue Ridge.
  13. I resolved my Glock .380 jamb problems. I returned it yesterday for a full refund no more Glock jambs or stove pipes for me.
  14. Don't buy a Glock 42 .380 unless you like clearing jambs and stove pipes. Sending this piece of crap off again for the second time. Plan on sending to Mr Glock this time.
  15. To me it looks like you have an oil pan leak . Try tightening your oil Pan bolts. It appears to be dripping off the oil line from the above oil pan. Looks like a ventage Harley engine after a good run down the strip.
  16. Thats great he insured it and you can replace the stock. I've bought and returned four hand gun just this year that were defective from the Mfg. S&W, Ruger, Breatta, and Glock all didn't cycle or stove piped S&W a .38 barrel was misaligned front sight canted to the right also cylinder latch wouldn't release proper. I kept the Glock out of the four it was repaired right. I actually sent the Smith off twice ended trading it on a Sig 238. Of all the hand guns I've bought and traded on Sigs. are the most reliable and are the most accurate except for the Glock. Fed-X is the carrier guess I been lucky so far.
  17. Ups would be replacing or paying for a new custom stock if it were me.
  18. With that metal to metal contact and as much heat that created I would replace the seals in the rear caliper. They are probably baked. Brakes need to be perfect on a motorcycle.
  19. Good too see your out of the three diget temperatures and can ride in comfort for a change. Oven heat is no fun to ride in.
  20. SNOW, is just another four letter word that starts with "S" and I avoid using in my vocabulary.
  21. I don't know about Florida but here in North Carolina it's still Fall and cold like in the twinties at night. So for us Winter is yet to come.
  22. I've dabbled some in gun best return was a Hunter LC Smith good too excellent condition with Leg of Mutton case and red pattern tag from Hunter. I paid $500. For the 20 ga. Traps grade 30 years ago sold it for $3000. About ten years ago. I hunted quail and doves with it till I started feeling guilty about caring it in the fields. Was a lot of fun busting doubles with it.
  23. I've only owned one nice Mauser a .22 training rifle my son completed with it on the school shooting team. I later traded for a stainless Ruger 10/22. Ruger shoots good but not like the heavy barreled Mauser.
  24. Condor have you ever herd of a Spanish Mauser 98 in cal. 30 06? Had a chance to buy one but turned it down. It was a full battle rifle in excellent condition with straight bolt handle that was the deciding reason for not purchasing. Some excuse young and dumb.
