  2. I changed one on a 91 1500 Goldwing with 20k on it after removing it which took most of the day found it really didn't need to be changed. After that I volved never to change one less than 40k miles.
  3. Try jumping that bike off before going into the starter. Then check all your main battery cable connections for tightness and corrosion.
  4. I will my friend and I have wish we lived a little closer. We both have been trained to deal with similar situations only now we have to use a lot of restrain nowadays.
  5. Enjoy your new bike when it comes in. Harley continues to improve their bikes they are nothing like what they were 30 or 40 years ago. I own three now and I much rather pull maint. or work on a Harley over a metric anytime just so much simplier
  6. Nice bike but why is it necessary too order a Harley ultra this day and time? Dealers in my area have a showroom floor full of them.
  7. Even though We both believe in Jesus, as long as we are here on earth we have too put up with the Devil. Keep a cool head even though your a$$ is burning off my friend.
  8. Well have you got your Tricycle starting problem solved? After we give all this good information we want some feedback too.
  9. Believe me I know what you are talking about but everybody needs a cruiser hot rod bike. Better to ask for forgiveness than permission and go from there.
  10. If she is in good shape paint wise I'll trade you a 02 Honda VTX 1800 which is a boundle of torque with no issues.
  11. After charging and trying two different batteries I would say your battery is not the problem. As stated before check all your connections especially your main ground point. Also, if your trike has been in high water definitely clean all battery cable connections. If the main switch is loaded with accessories items unload it and replace it.
  12. Do the above also pour about a half a can of Seafoam to a tank full of gas. That should clear up those carbs.

  17. I'm not sure how the on line bidding works. They probably would charge a fee to keep everyone on the up and up. Guess I need too check that out. Have seen some cars and motorcycles that I would liked to been able to bid on.

Physics and Ballistics are fantastic subjects too explore they both go hand and hand. Aristotle said heavy objects fall proportionally faster than lighter objects .......Wrong. Italian scientist Galileo Galilei (1564-1642) proved all freely falling bodies has a constant downward acceleration of 32ft/s2 hence gravitational pull. So lets explore a little knowns 240gn bullet muzzle velocity 800 ft/sec. shot vertical doesn't really come into play here. Who cares what speed its going up since its going to stop and turn and free fall to tera cotta or our head. Final Velocity is function of gravity and time. So lets solve time first with a final velocity of 400ft/sec. Vf=400ft/sec. t=Time ? s=Distance? t=400ft/sec divided by 32ft/s2 or 12.5sec. s=1/2(32ft/s2)t2=(16ft/s2)t2 s=(16ft/s2)(12.5)2=(16ft/s2)(156.25) s=2500ft. With a height of 2500 feet our bullet turns into a free falling projectile that impacts tera cotta at terminal velocity of 400ft/sec. in 12.5 seconds. Reference mat. Applied Physics 3rd edition by Tippens and of course Galileo.

Condor, well guess I'll need too dust off my physics book before committing further.

That's 50% of the original velocity of 800 feet per second on a loaded .45 acp. Anyway that's what I reload and shoot for. The 50% is the allowance or the effect for the falling bullet.

I don't want to get hit with a 230 grain bullet traveling at 400 feet per second horizontal or vertical.
  25. Look under thread 2016 Springfield Indian for my review on Polaris Indian. I'm not as handy on forwarding links on here as I should be. The input is the ninth one down.
