    I got 17,000 out of my last rear Venom....Couple of small hairline cracks just above the bead...Mostly 2-up and pulled a trailer about 2,000 miles..... I always get my tires from J&P,so I can check the date codes when I pick them up..

    Sorry to hear about the job,Bob...Way too much of this crap going on these days.. Read Snaggletooth's post...That sums it up real good.... Truck drivers have the 2nd highest divorce rate,right behind cops... This is especially true of folks getting into the biz as a new career.... I have 32 years out here on the road and am blessed to have a wife that puts up with having to deal with all the home stuff by herself when I'm gone for weeks at a time.. As I type this,I have been home for 32 days since January 1st.... The job can be very rewarding,but it takes it's toll on the driver and family..... And really cuts into riding time.... Before you jump into it,please pick the brains of the drivers on the site... There are some really bad deals to stay away from..... We can help you before you sign on the dotted line.....

    Orlin and Sharon are two of the nicest people we have ever met... However,if they let the whole group invade the property,once it was over, they would have to move and go into the witness relocation program, and I'm not to sure they want to give up their little slice of heaven.. :rotfl:

    No worries buddy.... With help from a adapter kit,no trailer wires were harmed during the process... Just had to go from a flat 4 to a flat 5... While we were there,we took the time to check out the sights...

    The trailer is leaving northern Wisconsin in a few minutes..... Going to meet up with Scooter Bob and Karen and head towards DBQ..... It's up to Mike to find us... The weather looks good and Shari gets to ride along....

    Well,change in routing.. It's almost 300 miles farther to run I-80,so I'm going to run back through on I-94... I'll have to see where my next load goes,so I might drop it at the house or if I head south and drop it by Rick's or ????????????.......... Or maybe I can get the weekend off and run it down with Shari.. Maybe I can get Bill over to the house and put the new brakes on the bike,so I would be ready to ride when I get home.. Stay tuned....

    Thanks Rick,I'll keep ya posted... I load in Portland in the morning,headed for Tomah,Wi.. Deliver friday,maybe we can meet somewhere.. I'll have to see how much time I have to work with.... I was planning on coming in on I-80 to 151,but I could run to the Quad cities or Lasalle and up 39.... Or maybe Mike could meet me and get it down to you... Or one of the Iowa gang can meet me along the way... Let's talk later in the week...
