    Randy,real bummer about the bike.It seems to me that the cops are always looking for security tapes whenever a crime is commited.I would think they would be very interested in seeing this one.

    Thanks for the update.I came thru Iowa on friday and had a 200 mile detour to get back to Wisconsin.I saw how bad it was and was thinking about Courtney.

    I have put on 2600 miles on my very first set on a gen1.So far,they are great in the rain.

    Thanks Peggy! I do owe you a story and will save a good one for the next time we meet. My stories are much better when I can jump up and down and use hand motions. Thanks for all the laughs! I had a blast! A huge thank you to Don, Eileen and Dylan for welcoming us into their home. Eileen, thanks to you too for all the laughs. My cheeks and stomach finally stopped hurting yesterday! One more thank you -- to all the members I have met. You have never made me feel anything but completely welcome and at home. For that I will always be grateful and feel blessed.     Hey Vinny,welcome to the club....I do the samething with the side stand to let Shari get off.I pulled in to get gas and thought I put the stand down leaned the bike over and and we both got pinned between the pump and bike.We were both laughing so hard,we couldn't move.The guy next to us was kind enough to give us a hand.

    Don and Eileen,You are truly special people...Thanks for hosting such a great event.Great food,made some new friends,saw alot of old friends and saw some of the best looking bikes.It was like being at a bike show.Although I didn't get any work done on our bike,I picked up alot of good info and idea's.. We got home @7:30 last nite.We waited out a bad storm in South Bend,IN.for half an hour.Otherwise good weather.Got the bike in the garage and unpacked and the rain came down.5" last nite. Now I have to find a good lawyer because I intend to sue the sunblock people.I put it on and got burned to a crisp.

    Check out www.ledouxleather.com............... This guy is my neighbor and does great custom work.He has done alot of custom mudflaps with exotic inlays..I.E. snakeskin,anteater,rattlesnake.Cool stuff.. You can call him or pm me the size you need and I will talk to him.....
