  1. Yes,that's how I do it on our 1st Gen...Good luck, sometimes it helps to step back, have a beer and try it again...
  2. Dave, glad to hear you weren't hurt to bad.The bike can be fixed and made even better then before...
  3. Once a member,always a member,no matter what ya ride..:)
  4. Jeff,I totally agree with you on this.. Your co-workers must be related to some of my co-workers.:rotfl:
  5. Englishtown and other tracks that have short run off area's are going to have to rebuild or reconfigure to handle 330 mph runs. The only current track that can handle these speeds is Brainerd..IMHO
  6. Reiny,I'm in the process of registering with Hal right now,so count me and Shari in...:happy34:
  7. Now that's funny.Gary,I'm glad you were able to sell the truck, but I'm sad it wasn't to me..But you know what we talked about at Don's,if I would have bought it,Cupcake would divorce me and then I would have to move into the space shuttle with you.
  8. We will be in Rhinelander over the 4th.I will have to see if I can sneek away for a little while.
  9. This is another good example that shows when riding with a group, ride single file or staggered. In the gusty winds, you then have the room to move around as needed.. I have a couple of friends that I won't ride with because they insist on riding side by side. I put Avons on our gen1 and it does seem to be a more sensitive to the wind gusts. But I'm willing to deal with that, because they handle so great...
  10. Hey Vinnie, can out of staters get in on this???? Cupcake doesn't need to know about this..
  11. Randy, real bummer about the bike.It seems to me that the cops are always looking for security tapes whenever a crime is commited.I would think they would be very interested in seeing this one.
  12. Reiny,I don't have paypal.Can I send you a check for 6 tickets. Thanks
  13. Hey Brad,I see I got ya thinking at Don's..Please get real good at setting the levels,as I may need to enlist your expert help If by some chance we just happen to be in Canada.:whistling:
  14. Don,that's great news regarding your tools. This group is more responsible with somebody's elses then my neighbors are with my tools.Maybe I need to move to one of those gated Venture exculsive communities.
  15. Great pics Cindy. We had our laugh for the day..:)
  16. Thanks for the update.I came thru Iowa on friday and had a 200 mile detour to get back to Wisconsin.I saw how bad it was and was thinking about Courtney.
  17. I have put on 2600 miles on my very first set on a gen1.So far, they are great in the rain.
  18. Dale, glad to hear the surgery went well..Hope the recovery time is short for you.Enjoy the shower therapy..I hear it does wonders for the healing process..
  19. Well,now you know the rest of the story.And now,page 2:)
  20. See what happens when you let Cindy drive....:stirthepot::rotf:
  21. Don,behind every man, there is a great woman......Just ask my cupcake, she will tell you all about it.:rotf:Enjoy your Father's Day.......
  22. Thanks Peggy! I do owe you a story and will save a good one for the next time we meet. My stories are much better when I can jump up and down and use hand motions. Thanks for all the laughs! I had a blast! A huge thank you to Don, Eileen and Dylan for welcoming us into their home. Eileen, thanks to you too for all the laughs. My cheeks and stomach finally stopped hurting yesterday! One more thank you -- to all the members I have met. You have never made me feel anything but completely welcome and at home. For that I will always be grateful and feel blessed. You are all truly special people. Shari (aka Cupcake per Dan and Dale)
  23. Dale,I am so sorry. She had a big frying pan in her hand and she made me write that. I'm a yes man, what can I say..........:rotf:
