  1. What the heck?????? You got rid of that bike in favor of that 2nd Gen.... What were ya thinkin Greg??? Hope all is well in Mass..:)
  2. That's a big 10-4...................:D
  3. If you can find them, pick up a set of "Hippo Hands". They fit over your handle bars and are fleece lined. You can wear a lighter glove and they work very well... I rode up to the snowmobile races in Luck,Wi. one winter..25degrees on the way up Friday and -10 degrees on the way home Sunday nite...... Pretty hard to shift the bike wearing snowmobile boots....
  4. What the heck???????? We still have a good month or so to ride....:D As far as washing the bike,I still have bugs on the bike from the trip to Canada.
  5. Hmmmmmmm, that's interesting.I had to modify mine because my 1st. gen on the center stand would be on the center drop section and I couldn't drop the tire. I moved the tire vice foward 6" with no ill tipping effects. I'm also going to cut a 4" section out the drop section and weld it back onto the table. That way I should be covered for any bike. Otherwise it's a great lift..
  6. Thanks.I was hoping to put a geniune Harley part on the bike,so I could fit in around town.
  7. Did you come up with the part# ???????????Inquiring minds want to know....
  8. Hey Allen,we're thinking about ya buddy.... Nobody else can be a "professional tourist" like you.....
  9. Hey,nice site.. But I think it should have been posted under 1st gen tech. We'll use it more than you 2nd gen chrome polishers...

  13. Wow,that's depressing..... It was 80 degrees here today...but we know it's a coming.... I guess I better give Shari that refresher course on how to use the snowblower..:p
  14. I thoght I remember reading that the whine in the transmission is due to square cut gears. My bike has whined since we got it too....
  15. The plug wires that are being sold on e-bay are great...Really good customer service.
  16. Looks like Red Gold harvested the tomatoes a little too early....:p:p
  17. Ya right,If you part them all,Then what would you have to tinker with in your retirement???? It will never happen....
  18. Oh Yeah... Try that at a Peterbilt dealer. I had a heater blower motor quit on me going across Iowa one fine-10 degree night. I pulled into a IH tractor dealer to see if they might have one that would work.He was able to cross reference one that would fit. I had to install it in my 4070B cabover. It installs from under the floorboard below the passenger seat and then you have to grab it from the top.My fingers were so cold,it slipped out and fell to the ground.:doh:The shaft wouldn't even turn.I took it back in to them and he replaced it free of charge.Although he did tell me that if it happened again,I was SOL.:whistling:Because that was their last one.... It was GREAT IH service...
  19. Mini,I could take 500 pictures a day and still not catch up to you and Bobbie... Yes,the kid got grounded,no cell phone and no Canadian bacon for breakfast...:rotfl:
  20. Hi Rick, you got the pucker factor on the way to Kitchener and Shari got it on the way back......:rotfl::rotfl: All kidding aside,I would much rather fight the wind on the bridge, rather then deal with Chicago, unless it was the middle of the night..My favorite time to go thru.
