  9. Most people only care about where they are going ,because it's way more important then where you are going. They don't care about the workers working right next to the flow of traffic. If there are workers present, you need to slow it down or pay at the window... Now if it's not a active work site,I don't believe the cops should use it as a speed trap. Indiana has signs in the work zones that flash 45mph,workers present. When they are done for the day,the signs are turned off..Great system in my book..
  10. What is "TAZ" gonna say about this.???? Seriously buddy, thanks for all the parts you've made over the years. We will be riding Gen5's and your parts will still be out there looking good.

  15. Wow,that is real cool... PGR,BACA,toys for tots,it's nice to see that somebody appreciates the things big bad tattooed bikers do.....and can look past the skin art and see the big hearts that we truly have....:D
  16. Hippo Hands made by Vetter.I use these when it gets real cold. The end where you put your hands thru is big enough so if your wearing a snowmobile suit, you can still get your hand in.The thing I like about these is your hands stay dry in the rain and you can wear a thin pair of gloves instead of bulkier snowmobile gloves. I have had these for over 25 years,so I don't know if Vetter still makes them. The only draw back is you must be able to operate all your bikes handlebar controls without seeing them.. I have had these on 2 750 Honda's and a BMW.They work great on the Venture too..
  17. Hang in there Cindy...YOU GUYS ARE IN OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS EVERYDAY.

  22. That's good that you don't want to be president.Because I heard they won't let you be president if you have a tattoo..:D:stickpoke:
  23. I thought that was what 4WD was for.... btw.I've hauled them in pick-ups before with no problems.I strongly suggest using the plywood. It really helps spread the weight and will give you piece of mind.
  24. Hey Vinnie,I like the fact that you test yourself.I don't know if our cops are trained in this or not.I think that most cops do a good job at estimating speeds.I'm kissing up in case I ever run into you out on the Island....:D
  25. Most people including leo's, have a hard time estimating a passing cars speed. If there were 20 people standing on a sidewalk and a car drove by on the street, you would get 20 different answers as to how fast the car was going. When it comes to average people be asked as witnesses at accident sites to say how fast a vehicle was going,IMHO they are sometimes way off. Years ago,I came to the scene of a bad big truck accident and stopped to see if I could help, because I knew some of the drivers that worked for this company. I listened to a witness telling the cop that the truck was speeding and doing at least 85 mph...I had to tell the cop that this company had their trucks set to run at 65 mph. He put that in the report and the witness got made at me.
