Jeff,I was just giving you the biz cuz I'm ahole deep in snow..... I really hope the knee surgery does the trick for you. Two friends of ours had both knees replaced and now they can dance circles around me... Recovery time was short for them.. Good luck.... -

2000 miles in a year....Dude, you live in Florida.... :whistling: I have more miles then that just pushing my bike around the garage this winter. Just curious Jeff,How come the tire change????? I thought the smaller tire was the hot set up for the 2nd gen.... -

Missing weight may or may not stop at 65-70... Do you have any snow or ice packed on the inside of the rim???????? This would cause a problem too........ When you did the bearings,did you replace the races as well ?????? I'm assuming you have the bearings adjusted correctly...... Brand new tires can have a ply separation...Try the easy stuff first. Rotate the tires front to back.That will also make it easier to see any ice build up... Or jack it up,chock the wheels and let the car idle.Then look for any tread wobble... Good luck..... -

Ya,it's been a snowy winter so far.. It was great coming out of Indianapolis yesterday. The farther north I went,the less snow there was. By the time I hit the Wisconsin border,no more snow. It usually is the exact opposite....

Tire tread seperation or maybe because you had the bearing shimmy happening,it caused a wheel weight to come off... Rotate the tires front to rear and test drive.It might help narrow it down.... -

You had said that the head gaskets were replaced once already..They had to take the rocker arms off to do that job. How many miles ago??? Maybe some warranty available?????? Good luck yous guys...You sure need it... -

Well,I was sitting in a club having a cold one, helping support single mom's and two big bad biker dudes came in and wanted to beat up the guy driving the Yamaha parked outside unless I joined their club..So being a lover and not a fighter,I signed up... Never been in a gang before...Pretty cool....:whistling::rotfl: Seriously,bought the Venture not knowing a thing about them. I always just thought they were Goldwings until I knew better. I googled Venture and this site popped up. What a wealth of info and knowledge on this site... We didn't know anybody,but took a chance and went to one of Brad and Lonna's meet and eats......Met a great group of people who are the real deal...... Shari and I have made lifelong friends all because of a motorcycle.... We have yet to meet any clunkers in this group..Unless we are the clunkers and nobody's telling us.. So to all the new members,get to any of the rallies or meet and eats.Or start your own meet and eat.. You won't regret a thing.... Thanks to Don for getting us all together and for all the time and effort you put into this site.:happy34: Boy,the riding season can't get here fast enough..My typing finger hurts..
