Mine also whines at 3,000 rpm's... It's done this since I got it... I get a little rear end whine when I get off the gas..Normal stuff.... -

If you visit the Harley museum in Milwaukee,they have a prototype Nova bike on display. Sorta kinda looks like a 1st Gen....If they would have pursued this,think of where they would be today...I guess Willie G. can't win them all... He's had alot of great idea's over the years,but he blew this one bigtime.....

Great looking ride Annie..... Depending on where you want your crutches to ride,you might be able to adapt a clamp that would be a quick release....Something along the lines of a van roof top clamp that holds a ladder in place....It would be more work then the scabbard or the plastic rifle holder..A good leather guy should be able to fix ya right up... We have the technology,it can be done.

Hi Alan,your sensors must be more sensitive then the ones here in Wisconsin... We can hardly ever get them to trip.. Two buddies have tried the E-bay sensors with mixed results.... Another buddy installed a big magnet under his bike and that seems to work pretty good at triping the signals... For those not aware,ABATE of Wis. helped pass into law in Wisconsin The "Roadway users responsibility Act 466...This was passed in 2006. 346.37(1)©4 A motorcycle facing a vehicle actuated red signal for 45 seconds shall yield right of way and may cautiously proceed through the intersection.. Just FYI for those that travel in Wisconsin..

need exhaust collector advise on short notice

Welding it in place is a pain,but to me it beats trying to take the collector off.. Use a small cut off wheel to cut the bottom out.. Some guys will only cut 3 sides and pry it open to remove the baffle,but that distorts the metal and you have to beat it back into place..That makes it harder to weld back into place.. If you weld it on the bike,just remember to disconnect the battery.. This just prevents anything feeding back thru the electrical system and frying something... -

If you can get the front end up in the air,you can cut the bottom of the collector out remove the baffle and reweld the piece back in if your good at welding upside down... -
