Hey buddy,I'm a chameleon..I have to keep Shari and the federalies at the border guessing. Just another one of the joys of being in the "Witness Relocation Program":D:D:D

The funny thing was while I was having dinner in Canada,Brad was on a business trip to Milwaukee....

435 3406e.... I pretty sure some thing let go internally.I heard a pop and then it started missing real bad..In 300 miles, the oil on the dipstick was up 2" past full...That's why I stopped to get the oil changed on the way back to prevent washing out a cylinder or two..We will see.

Dano,I've found over the years, that it's real hard to get customers to sign for the trucks when they have tree branches and mud all over..:crackup:
-
I can't take credit for that..I know beer, but that one was Hal's. I still had to drive that nite.

It's a Oshkosh crash, fire and rescue truck. It weighs 40,000lbs. 3.05 meters wide..I got that info off my Ontario oversize permit..Otherwise 10 ft. wide. It sprays water, foam and dry chemicals. 625 Cat motor with a 7speed Allison automatic and all wheel drive....

Well.I had a load going to Breslau,Ont. It was supposed to deliver on Thursday, but had to move it up to Wednesday. Coming thru Michigan,I lost a injector on the motor. The load had to get there so I ran it on 5 cylinders per the bosses orders.. I was sweating it going over the Blue Water Bridge because the motor was missing badly and vibrating real bad. I got to Waterloo Regional Airport and met Hal there.. I got unloaded and parked the truck and went and had dinner with Hal,Gayle and Rhonda. Very cool.It was great seeing you guys again... A venture M&E with a 18 wheeler and 3 cages.. I stopped in Port Huron on the way back and had the oil changed and limped her back to the terminal...Hopefully they will have it done on Monday.

Hey Earl,I guess I missed the part in the instructions where you and Jean ride to Wisconsin to supervise the correct installation of parts.... :rotfl: Seriously,I think I will have to do this mod as I had some clutch slippage issues at the end of last year and need to figure out if it's the springs or the disc going bad...

Looking good on the trip buddy..Wish I was there. Ride safe. Just had time for a drive-by post..

Dude, that is soooooooo wrong... :rotfl::rotfl: Shari say's she will pay top dollar for the pic of you in a bikini riding b***h with Scooter Bob. I think Scooter Bob is going to need a sidecar for all the groupies.. Karen,I think your going to have to beat them off with a big stick.. Well, you guys hold down the fort.I got to head for Denver. c-ya

The TWIC card background check duplicates the Haz-Mat check. So pay twice for the same background check and finger printing, for credentials that expire at different times.. And then to top it off, some ports (Dundalk) will not honor the TWIC card unless you are pre-registered in their system and this has to be done ahead of time or you will need to come back another day... Last week,we just got word that all the NY. and NJ. ports are going to require their own special ID in addition to the TWIC card.. Great, more money out of my pocket...

Hi Peggy,I'm working with my cousin the tattoo artist to design my back piece. It's going to be crossed American and Canadian flags with the the words above the flags, "Life's a Venture".. Below it will read "Two Wheels move the soul" and below that will read"18 wheels move the freight".I'm going to leave the rest for him to fill in with artwork.... I'm still trying to talk Shari into getting another tat,but it don't look good.

My plan was to bring alot back, but he only brews small batches at a time and no bottles, only kegs at this time.. With him getting the cooler,I think his production will increase and he will be able to keep more beer cold. When he get's a little bigger and has everything in order we have a couple of bars in Milwaukee that have nothing but craft beers on tap.Their beer selection changes weekly and in the not to distant future,I really hope to be drinking Cajun beer on tap in Milwaukee...
-
Get the story straight there buddy..Fat tire is made in Ft.Collins but I had it on tap in Reno.. :thumbsup2:
-
Boomer, glad to hear your relocation went OK... For you and the rest of the gang in Cajun Country,I have a bit of news.. A few weeks back,I delivered a walk in cooler to a guy in Broussard,La. He started a small brewery and I had a chance to sample some of his beer.Awesome So,be watching at your favorite watering hole.... I was blown away by the beer he calls "Canebrake" made with Louisiana sugarcane... Here is the link to his site. www.parishbeer.com Enjoy !!!!!!:D IH TRUCK GUY who's got his southern brothers and sisters back..

Bill, that's not to bad, about what we're paying... I still think that it doesn't hurt to shop around and compare just to keep your agent honest..

Got them on the big truck... The only problem is when the kids want me to honk the horn..If somebody is next to me and they aren't seeing the the kids pump their arms, they are in for the shock of their lives..:yikes:

That's great news Lewis.....Dealing with Ins.companys is a major pain in the arse....
-
Ok,here's one of me and the cupcake..... She still looks great,I think I have about 10,000 more grey hairs..:bawling:since this pic was taken last summer...

I've pushed snow with a Yamaha, and Can-Am 4x4's with plows and they both worked well.If you have 4-6" of heavy wet snow,it will take longer, but can be done. A buddy has the 850 Suzuki with the plow and raves about it... The main thing you want is the winch. This will raise the plow and save your arm from doing it manuelly.....They all work pretty well, but if I was buying one,I would buy the biggest one I could afford.... You know what they say,"there ain't no substitute for cubic inches".....

Annie, not a good way to start the New Year. Here's hoping for a speedy and painless recovery..
