Welcome Home Boomer !!!!!!!!! Our ABATE group is doing a ride on May 21st. It's called LZ Lambeau Field. It starts all over the state and ends at Lambeau Field. There we will have a "Welcome Home" for all Vietnam Vets.. It's a whole weekend of celebration to give the Vets the proper homecoming that they never got.. Thanks again for your service to this country.

Sitting at the supper table one nite,Shari and I were talking about Woodstock. We asked our 16 year old and her friend who was over what they knew about Woodstock..They wanted to know why we wanted to know about the little yellow bird from Charlie Brown..:crackup::crackup:

I didn't see anybody else post about the big rockslide on I-70 west of Denver. The road is closed both ways.They aren't sure how long it will take to clean up and repair the bridge that now has a huge hole in it.

Thanks for the kind words Scott....:D Well,just a update on the truck for those interested.. The more they got into the motor,the worse it was.. So,they decided to do a in-frame rebuild. Looks like a little unplanned time off for me unless I want to jump in the spare truck and due a quick turn. Or,due I take the time to do my honey-do-list,work on the bike,drink beer and chase Shari around for a while.. Other then not getting paid,I think that I'm leaning toward plan "B".:D:D

Small little corner bar with great homemade food. They have specials every night. Serving sizes are ample and priced good. I had a ham steak,scalloped potatoes,a crabcake and 2 beers for 15 bucks.. Plus they have Yuengling beer on tap.. I've never had the bike there as I always walk the 6 blocks from the truckstop to get a GOOD meal:).. The parking lot is real small,but they do have street parking. Some folks say that this neighborhood isn't the best,but I have never had or seen anything to stop me from walking there at night...

Got to ride today. Got stuck on the ice getting out of the garage and coming back in to. 120 miles. Met up with a Harley riding buddy that I had done some work for on some of his bike parts.Dropped them off and rode home.....Pretty chilly once the sun went down. Geez,I felt like Scooter Bob out there riding thru the snow... :crackup:
