  5. Anyone have a good picture of the idle mixture screws? on a 2nd gen.
  6. Can you hear your fuel pump when you first turn on the key? Check all four pipes for heat at the heads Check air filter and connections down to carbs.
  7. The smell of smoke don't bother me yet, my throat will get sore after being around someone smoking. I breath better now and don't have the night rattle in my chest. Best part is not spending that 10 bucks a day x 365 days a year. Now that is nice.

  16. It needs the clutch kit, i put the kit in mine i got from Earl, made the clutch very happy. Squidley is a good guy, we just love to yank at that chain:stirthepot:

  18. Might be, but you would think he would have a fire or some smoke after 50 miles

Sounds to me like you might have lost a coil, or spark to one or more of the cylinders, is it idling ok? or just when its pulling down the road, start it up cool and check each one of the exhaust pipes coming from the heads, if you got one cold then you have found the problem. then just got to see if its a bad plug or plugs wires, or coil pack.
  20. I used a peice of wood stove door seal, i bought a real thin seal and wraped it around the outside of the pipe and worked it back into the collector, tighten up the clamp, no more leak.
  21. I found this post on it. We are now in Portland. Just unloaded the trailer, ready for Alan to deliver back to Wayde's tomorrow. Full circle now! What a journey __________________
  22. I been running 40 psi in the rear and 38 in the front, Now we do haul some weight, more like over loaded so maybe i need to bump up the psi, i think it says 40 psi on the side wall?
