  1. looks like it has a camp ground, you have to go though reserve America to book a camping spot, i notice a few of the camp spots have already been reserved so the sooner the better on nailing down the dates.
  2. what about coolant temp, have you used your temp gun to check it. i wonder if the coolant system could have a air pocket causing a hot spot ? the manual says it hold 3.7 qt. Or possible water pumps isn't moving coolant. even if it had a lean cylinder being a water cooled engine one would think it could take the extra heat away except what comes off of the header pipe. what did your plugs look like did you take any pictures of them?
  3. Wow i cant say what would be causing all that much heat the only time i ever get any heat from mine is in stop and go traffic and the engine fan comes on, and it has to be real hot out before that even bothers me, yeah i say check your plug for any gas fouled, theses bikes run pretty good on a few dead holes. where are you riding this bike at? 5. Check in every day almost, still have both a first gen and 2nd gen. that i have rode very little this year, just had alot of stuff going on this summer, that should all be done over the winter we will see.
  6. try disconnecting the neg. battery cable from battery, let it sit 20 minutes and hook it back up, if that don't work, undo what you did to the trailer lights.
  7. with enough notice i think we could get some of these people to show up, post up a date and times and see what happens, we used to alot around the starve rock area back in the day. and Mike EUSA1 has his root beer meet over in Oglesby il. its always a good time, im sure we can get a few to show up.

  10. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=113079&d=1529205140&thumb=1&stc=1This is what i found before mine stopped running, this is a connection from my 99 IGN. switch. i installed a relay kit before it die on the side of the road, also in the manual section 8 page 8, there is trouble shooting steps for the ignition system.
  11. this is how i attach mine to the floor, even if you cant do it this way, it still has to be mounted to the floor, just get a throw rug to cover up the holes.
  12. These bikes wont run past idle with out the air filter installed and the intake system has to be leak free. one little leak will make them run funny.
  13. Thats the differents when a first gen and a sec gen race
  14. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/member.php?89-93-venture I too join before the great crash, i think November 05
  15. You ever tried a E3 ? i get real good mileage out of them on my first gen and sec gen, they do get noisy in the corners when they wear down, but other than that i really like them, Dennis kirk for 134. bucks free shipping
