    Saw you guys were wondering how Goose was doin, (been AWOL ?) and expressing appreciation for his knowledge and experience. I don't talk (or type) much, but I would like to jump on that train. I just did a repair that I couldn't have done without the tech article Goose did about adding the brace to support the badly designed windshield bracket (broken plastic tabs) as well as Freebirds PlastiFix link. So somebody tell the guy he's appreciated.

    say his book states sidewall not rated for this bike, also his "book" doesn't show RSV in production this (07) year is this tire safe ?

    just bought dunlop 150/80 -16 71H. tire guy says this tire flagged "do not use" for my 07 RSV. what say you ?

    I have done the seafoam, and it got better and a member has offered to help me sync. the carbs... so I guess I'll take a ride.. $ 900.00 is outside my budget !!!

    Hey I just bought a 07 venture with 3200 miles and and have some popping, I carried it to a dealer and they want about $ 890.00 to clean the carbs/ replace "bowl" seals "needle jets" in short $ 500.00 in labor and $ 400.00 in parts.....

    hey, thanks guys. It seams that there could be several thing going on, I guess i will let the dealer narrow it down, sure does help to have an idea what could be going on though. Its' been my experiance that not having a idea whats going on puts one at a disadvantage, I appreciate the advice
