    time for a new headset. been using J & M for years, works good for cb and intercomb but my $10.00 pair i wear when walking sounds better for music. anything out there that has quality sound for music. I will admit my J M are about 15 years old. they may have improved much since then. thanks in advanced.

    the owners manual says 3.9 qts with filter change. would putting in 4.0 qts make that much difference?

    I checked the oil and it's right in the middle. I've put nearly 10,000 miles on it, changed the oil twice but this is the first time I've seen a little puddle. I usually put in 4qts with a new filter. that is slightly more than required but I wouldn't think it would be too much. but I will keep that in mind. thanks for the info.

    there are four tubes that hang down from the middle of the frame on my 01 rsv. I'm not sure what they are but one of them is dripping oil, the other three are clean. can someone tell me what they are for and why one would drip oil. I tried to trace them down but it's easier to ask the experts. thanks

    I called it a snap but I guess you would call it the upper latch. it's the part of the lid that fastens into the bottom part of the trunk. the one on the right side snapped off not long after i bought it in March. thanks

    the chirping on my 01 is taking the fun out of riding. i've put 9000 miles on it since March and I'm not getting use to it. I'm going to have to do something. It sounds like the I-basked is a gamble. might or might not work. just wondering if the 1st gen. chirpped. why does yamaha ignore this problem?

    one of the snaps on my trunk lid broke off some time ago. i've been riding with just the one but it is wearing thin and won't stay fastened. I guess I'll have to buy a new lid. is there a place to buy one besides yamaha. I'd hate to think what that would cost. any insight on this problem is appreciated. David

    my left saddlebag is in a bind at the rear, it won't open. any suggestins as to how to get it open. I'm in Colorado and my jacket and rainsuit are in there. I push down on the latch as hard as i can while my friend tried to get it aligned. we're stumped. any help would be greately appreciated.

    when I had my wing I could listen to the radio on speakers and cb on headsets. It looks like this can't be done on the venture. it's either speakers all the way or headsets. I like my radio on speakers and cb thru headsets. am I missing something or is this just the way it is. thanks

    got the light wired in, wasn't all that difficult. it made a world of difference in visibility. I also got the refund on the shipping charges. I have a few other items I intend to buy from Diamond R when finances allow. they are standup people.

    "Side note, did you pay $22 shipping when the cost on the shipping label was less than $10? " yes, I thought about calling and asking for an explanation how something so small and light could cost so much but didn't. I was also surprised to pay taxes. my $54 item turned into something over $80.
