Looking for info regarding presetting the spring on a progressive rear shock for two up riding. Would like to get it close before installing it on the bike.
I put spacers between the mirror bracket and the fairing. When you tighten the mirror down it does not pull on the plastic fairing. The boot covers it up.
Those V65 Sabres are a breed of their own. I still have my 84 that I purchased in 1985. Just put all stainless lines on it and made a new fork brace for it.

Just fixxed one just like it. The lobe was broke off. Those engines have a compression release built into the cam in order to lower compression to make it easier to start. Then centrifical force takes it out of play when it starts. They dont make them like they used to.
Talked to Mark today and ordered a collector for my 87 Standard. He had it in stock and I should receive it this week. I did confirm with them that they are 100 percent stainless including the welds.
