  1. I could use one as well.
  2. I swore to myself when i got my second bike, and knew that I was hooked, that i'd never be so broke that there wasn't money for gas in my motorcycle. I'll sacrifice whatever I need to, so that I can have my entertainment, and therapy. I've learned to ride 350 + mile days, and not buy soda, snacks, or ever DQ, but i'll always put the gas in, and close my eyes, so I don't see how much it costs. The sad part, is that when I do have to put gas in my 87 Dodge truck, I pump real slow, so I get more bang for my buck. Steve
  3. I finally got them ordered, and they are on their way. I still have the quiet mufflers on there right now, but I guess with the headsets, that would be the next logical choice to make more thunder. I feel like a commercial now, but thanks to this thread, i saved a ton. I was still looking at the factory headset, and knew there had to be something cheaper out there. $250 a pop just seemed too much.
  4. I followed the link, and it looks like a great change. I'll be ordering the headsets today, and will keep the plug in the stock location at least for a few weeks, so then when i change it, I can get credit for it. That's not too evil is it?
  5. I'm not sure if I would have thought of that or not. Thanks. I did pull out the manual when i got the bike, cause i was sure that them back speakers actually should work, but the dealer told me they were only for looks. lol Spent a fair amount of time trying to figure that out. I'm not real big into all the chrome, yet, but I'd sure like to get the things working that are already there.
  6. SilvrT Thanks for the info. I'll keep that in mind. I've been secretly jealous for years of those that get to talk while riding, but never wanted to spend the money, and now that my bike is set up that way, I can't wait to give it a try on my own.
  7. I knew if i waited long enough, i'd find the answer to my questions. I was totally looking in the wrong places. I couldn't even find the cord to hook to the bike for that price. Thanks Is there anything else that is recommended for setting this up for the first time? Steve
