Sounds like there wasn't enough "brake caliper lube" on the backside of brakes.

I have the Ruger GP-100, model 1707. 357/38 revolver, satin stainless, 6" barrel. I love it and as mentioned, shooting 38's for plinking is fun and cheaper then 357's.

Here is a great article on what you're talking about. I followed these instructions without incident. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=63658 Try here for the bars: http://www.powersportjunkie.com/FLANDERS-650-08783-p/pu-0601-0377.htm

Kyle: Have you drilled out the inner baffles. I drilled out the front and rear, leaving the middle baffle and found the sound to be about right.

Here is a link to a nice article about oil filters. They cut open just about every filter out there, so you can see the difference. I prefer the HiFlo. http://www.tobycreek.org/oil_filters/index.shtml

Can't provide proof of engine failure because of Fram, but if you'll look at the construction of a Fram compared to others....well I wonder why you'd want to use them. I prefer Hi-Flow and been using them for years. But to each there own........ http://www.tobycreek.org/oil_filters/index.shtml

Check this web site out......it's the recommendations from the manufacture. http://www.avonmoto.com/tech/tire-pressure-guidelines

The noise is the very reason I switched to Avon, no more noise and I think the Avons perform better.

Here is an article that examines oil filters, I found it to be very helpful in determining which filter I use on my bike. I use a HiFlo 303 filter and haven't had any problems. I buy my filters from PowerSports Superstore and the last batch was $4.95 ea plus shipping. http://www.tobycreek.org/oil_filters/index.shtml

Thanks Steve and Jonas for the replies....... I'll follow your suggestions. I looked all over the manual and didn't see any specific spec so I thought I might have been missing something.... Bruce

Getting ready to change coolant and I'm using the "method one" write up by V7Goose......what I can't find anywhere is the torque specifications for the "fake cylinder fins" bolts. They are called "cyclinder side covers" in the manual. Does anyone have that info??? Thanks: Bruce

You didn't say how you "removed" Norton's.......But if you didn't use the "Norton Removal Tool" program, there is still some Norton's stuff on the PC that WILL cause you problems. I'd suggest running the program to clean your PC of ALL Norton's stuff, then proceed with installing the other Anti-Virus program you have......

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Regarding taking a screen photo........ If you have an IPhone, by pressing the "Home" (big button at middle bottom of phone) and "Lock' (top right of phone) button at the same time, the phone will take a snap shot of the screen. The picture will be in your "Photos" folder (icon). This works on my IPhone 4.... Just a little trick I learned and like to pass along....
