I read a lot as well. My wife has asked several times if I wanted a Nook or Kindle. I have told her that I don't want an electronic book. I like the feel of a book in my hand and watching the book mark moving through the book. I have a neighbor who loves his Nook and lots of people do but I guess I'm just a little old fashion. I know this doesn't help a great deal but you might ask, somehow, if she wants one. Good luck and have a Merry Christmas Kent

Well since you two entirely high-jacked this thread I thought I’d bring it back on track. I have an 04 Yamaha Road Star and love it. I have driven it and my RSV coast to coast, not at the same time of course, and both performed flawlessly. If I were going to buy another cruiser it would still be a Road Star but I would get a newer one with fuel injection. Road Stars have a lot of aftermarket accessories, both performance and safety chrome. The R* has a ton of torque and sounds great cruising. I spend an equal amount of time on the roadstarclinic.org so if you want some good information on the R* go to the clinic and take a look. Good luck in your search for a new cruiser.

Hi Vincent and welcome to the forum. 532 if doable as others have said. When I travel I like to take the back roads and see what is out there and there is so much pretty country in GA and TN that I would love to see all of it. I normally do 400 or so a day because I like stoping early and getting a nice dinner. Things will take longer on a scooter than in a cage because your stops will come closer together and you will normally stop for longer breaks than most do in a cage. You butt just needs a rest some time and it is alot tougher fighting the wind all day long. Have a great trip and be safe. Kent

Whatever it holds on will not fall off as long as it is parked in the garage, take it for a ride a really long ride because as the rules go drive it until it breaks then fix what broke. Or there is always rule #2 fix it until it's broke.

I made my own. Out an inch, down an inch and out another inch. Looks great and is plenty far out of the way. Fast and easy mod. I had my front end lowered an inch but the front fender hit the radiator grill so I put the forks back to the stock full length and put Progressive springs on the front.

That is nice. Good luck and have fun.

Aren't you always supposed to have a part or two left over??????

What size 90 deg. tire valve?
SMSgt replied to Sylvester's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
I did mine towards right and 45 degrees towards the rear and it has easy access. I wouldn't worry a great deal about chrome on the back, you'll never see it. I take my right bag off and it really makes things easy to check. Good luck and have fun. -
What would I do?????? I would have done what I did:whistling: I'd keep the Roadie and buy the Venture:mo money:. A person can not have too many Stars.
