  1. Anyone had a Mean City Cycle Seat Modification done on their bike. Looking to get the wife's seat done on her Honda VTX 1300, so she can keep up with the old man on our touring adventures. If yes, which grade of drivers seat modification did you select. If this mod works I might try it on my 2nd Gen Venture. Thanks
  2. Check out these T-Shirts. http://home.comcast.net/~tpbiker1/Royalstar.htm
  3. 1973 Kawasaki 250 Enduro (street and dirt riding) 1975 Honda CB 750 (great bike but not fast enough) 1978 Kawasaki 900 (bike got stolen, yesterdays rocket) Got Marry and had kids 1997 Honda Goldwing 1500se (back into bikes after a 20 year break) 2005 Yamaha RSV (best bike I have ever owned, great tourer)
  4. Talking about the Billet Carburetor Covers. Yamaha part #STR-4XY27-42-01. Have them on my bike, look great.
  5. Some cheese for my WHINE, so I'll go away.
  6. Yea, ley me know
  7. Traded wife’s RSV and purchased smaller touring cruiser for her. Got a decent trade in price and told the dealer OK if I can take some of the accessories off. Planning on putting the items on Ebay but figured I would give my Venture riders first shot at these listed accessories below. All items are in great shape and prices do not included shipping cost. All items will also be listed in classified ads with picture. Thinking of removing Passing Lamps and selling for $150.00; if anyone is interested let me know. Thanks Corbin Royal Star Venture Backrest ---$125.00 Saddlebag Trim Rails --------------------$100.00 Leather Tank Bra with Pockets--------- $100.00* Tinted Lower Wind Vents--------------- $100.00 Utopia Backrest (Pillow Type)----------$125.00 Insta-Trike kit by TowPac--------------$2500.00 * Tank bra has two small holes in lower pocket flap where I mounted a metal nametag, which can be purchased at any bike rally.
  8. Hope this will help you: 1. Changed tires after 8500 miles to Dunlop Elite III's. MT90B-16 Front and MV85B-15 Rear. The MT90B-16 is a 130, while the rear MV85B-16 is still a 150. The stock front tire is a 150. The front tire is narrower than stock which improves slow speed handling. Makes the front end feel a lot lighter 2. I switched to the pillow seat. My Midnight Venture had a regular studded seat which I thought was to firm. Take your pick. 3. Have a Butler Cup Holder, they come in 20oz or 34oz. 4. No trick, just an early warning. 5. Installed Tinted Lower Wind Vents that direct air into lower cockpit area(See Yamaha Accessories). Also purchased a 17 1/2 inch wide windshield (See Yamaha Accessories) and cut to proper height. 6. Installed Harley Davidson Road Knight pipes. Yes they fit, need to make a new mounting bracket, but they work and sound better than stock. Also you can get more rumble from these pipes with some minor adjustments.
  9. Is the Steerite kit available for a 2005 Royal Star Venture. If so where did you buy the Steerite kit.
