There is nothing the matter with you, You are a MOTHER and what your feeling is right and natural. Prayers and best wishes sent your way, and as Boomer say's just be ready for that big smile when he steps back onto the ground and give him the biggest hug a mother ever gave a son.

Good luck Carl and make sure you take your list of signatures with you. Small operators like yourself need to be heard.

This was my 1st MD as well and I had an absolutely great time. I rode down and back with a great bunch of people, and met a great bunch of people once I got there, Many of whom I had often chatted with on chat such as yama moma ( who for some reason I thought was blonde (no pun intended)and wasn't but was definitly a warm and friendly person.Minimuffin ( who I some how thought would be taller ) An obviously fun loving person full of mischief. Lonna whos infamous cheese cakes I finally got to sample (hope I didn't cut into your action to severly Big Tom:innocent-emoticon: ) Squidly Who I found out actually only has 2 tennn ahh I mean arms' who should hire himself out as a professional MC Great job Squidly,Of course Bongobobny was there handing out spare parts a man with not just a golden bike but a heart of gold as well ,And A real big hand :dancefool:to all the guy's working on others bikes ((a special thanks to Carl (aka Marcarl) who helped me out with some of my issues)) they were all just an awsome bunch of guys. Last but not least an Extra Special thanks to Don and Eileen for all thier hospitality and efforts. It was agreat honour to finally after all these years meet you both (And Don somehow I thought you would be shorter but you are actually one tall drink of water, OOPS did I say WATER:rotfl:) ONCE AGAIN THANKS FOR EVERYTHING DON AND EILEEN:thumbsup2:

Man that really sucks Bob I am real sorry to hear about this. More importantly however is that you are OK and Here to tell the story. That as always is our #1 concern. Ps on our way home we saw a big black dog trying to drag a dead deer away from the road wonder if that was your deer:think: Take care Bob hope to see you and Becky again soon

I would be inclined to agree. If the OEM switch is working as intended there is no reason to mess with. you also don't want to run an engine too cool either because that causes excesive engine wear and increased carbon and sludge build up. Adds that use racing as advertising never point out that racers want speed and short term durability, they are not concerned with fuel economy and engine longevity. They want an engine to last through the race and they get torn down frequently between races, they are not concerned with getting 4 or 5 years or 100,000 plus miles out of an engine. What is good on the track is not always what is good for the everyday vehicle. -
Basicaly you connect a hose to each carb and leave the valves closed. open the valve to the carb you are adjusting, and adjust valve so the needle stops vibrating and holds steady.then note the reading. repeat for each cylinder adjusting the carbs as required until you get the same reading for all four. you only open the valve connected to the carb you are working on the other three valves remain closed.
