Garage and yard sales also make it difficult. In my case what ever resolution I make you can guarantee I will do the exact opposite and ten times worse than if I had not made the resolution to start with.

Kinda sounds like something I need to do as well. May even need some intervention help. But not from my wife she will toss everything out

Heck you have not even hit the record in the asking questions department. So since you have a long way to go ask away. BTW those of us in the know love to assist, some of us even started out as you are doing now. This site is all about sharing knowledge and the questions even help us in the know because it gives us the chance to remember stuff that we sometimes forget or challenge us with a new problem to test our know how and diagnostic skills. Glad you decided to join. True we got a little off track the past couple years with the whole covid thing and all but hopefully come this year we will all be back on the subject of our bikes, a much better topic anyway. You will not regret joining and may even develop new friendships with members in your area. As they say birds of a feather flock together and we are definitely a bunch of fun loving bird brains

Could use a bit more info on the brake issue. I am not sure if your saying they locked up or that they did not and you did not state if you were applying both foot and hand brake or just one or the other.

I get that. I have spent hours searching for air leaks on transport trucks which have miles of air lines, fittings and air bags unable to find any, yet the customer insists it looses air over night. Sometimes you have to add extra soap to the water spray everything down and wait a few minutes. The tell tale is sometimes nothing more than a very slight foaming at the leak. Also check the exhaust ports and or open ended lines near the solenoid valves. Cover the hole or end of hose very lightly with a wet soapy finger. Its possible the valves are leaking internally and allowing air to escape through the exhaust port. If your not sure were they are with the compressor assembly uncovered, lower the pressure using the buttons on the class control panel. As you do this you will hear were the air is escaping as the system dumps air, these are your exhaust ports. they should seal up tight other than when dumping air. If air is leaking out of these other than when lowering the suspension than the valves are faulty and need to be replaced.

If you only need the diaphragms and the sliders are in good shape try out this place http://jbmindustries.com/Yamaha650.html I have purchase from them a couple times and highly recommend them. Read entire page before you buy though in case you prefer to stick to OEM style. Pay particular attention the the note highlighted in yellow near the bottom of the page referencing the venture -
Nice I love it. Here is what I built to move snow. And the blade with 4x4 draw bar removed is light enough to carry under one arm or toss up on the rafters for the summer. I can angle the blade behind the truck are out past either side of the truck or even turn it completely around to push the snow rather than pull. The whole thing only takes fifteen minutes to mount to my trailer hitch. It worked so well the first year that the driveway hardly got any snow the last two years I didn't even have to use it.

I have come to the conclusion I need not worry about my diet. I will most likely die of brain strain from trying to keep up with all the pro's and con's, do's and don't s in the never ending quest of doing the right thing only to find out it is now the wrong thing and then back to the right thing to try and stay healthy.

If you have clogging of the arteries I would not cut back on the statin drug but would back off on the K2. If the statin is giving you muscle pain see your DR for a different type of Statin. Both my brothers had to do this and they are now fine. K2 increases platelets in the blood stream which I said before for some people specially if the have thin blood is a good thing. But too many platelets can causing clotting specially if you already have restricted arteries. This is why clodidogrel is often prescribed for the 1st year or 2 to stent patients to reduce platelets and prevent clotting of the stent. Clotting can also drive up your blood pressure another reason to be careful when taking K2.

Sadly the vaccine is not effective against getting omicron though it does appear to reduce the effects of it. On the other hand despite omicron being aggressively more transmissible, all indications are that it is not as devastating as previous variants and the majority of those getting it are recovering after only suffering normal flu like symptoms. So Hopefully despite testing positive, all will be well with your family and lets all hope 2022 becomes a better year for all.

Yes Merry Christmas , Happy new year and lets hope!

Its not? and here i just filed my tank with water figuring it was cheaper than gas. My thinking is that since compression creates heat and heated water turns to steam I would in a sense have a steam engine that would cost me nothing to run.

Check battery voltage before you you hook it up and recheck voltage when hooked up If there is a big voltage drop your battery is either defective or undercharged. Put it on slow charge over night and repeat the same procedure. If the same occurs you likely have a defective battery you can verify this buy load testing the battery. On the other hand if when you hook up the battery and you get an unusual heavy spark as you touch the cable to the battery you may have a bad short somewhere. -
A Day late but hope all had a very merry Christmas Day.

Yes Merry Christmas to you as well.

Everything you never knew you wanted to know about oranges...
saddlebum replied to circa1968's topic in Watering Hole
Another interesting fact that my Dr told me which totally threw me for a loop is that oranges are fattening. I guess it, and can only assume it has to do with the sugar content. Who Knew. -
Knew you would get in on this one. Notice how I conveniently left out the name of this dish to give you an opening. If its one thing us dutch folks like as much as stretching copper penny's as though we were making copper wire. Its Stamppot.

Try taking the kale out of the garden the day before you intend to eat it and put it in the freezer over night before cooking it. Back in the sixties and most of the seventies when it stayed frozen all winter we left the kale in the garden all winter and only picked enough for dinner. Also try this. Peel and quarter some patatoes place in a pot and cover with water. Place a bed of kale on top oft the potatoes and some smoked pork or pork and beef sausages on top of the kale and cover. Once the patatoes are done, remove the sausages and mash the potatoes and kale together. Serve on a plate and mix in some viniger and raw diced onions. You will love it.

So your clearing the snow so you can cut the lawn and I thought my neighbor was a lawn fanatic

I take both rosuvastatin and ramipril. I have had no side effects from either as far as I know, though I do know that certain types of statins have produced muscle pain in some people. One statin in particular was notorious for this. I take both before bed rather than in the morning. Apparently statins which are meant to control cholesterol work best while your sleeping. I take the Ramipril at night because the pharmacist advised that it has a tendency to cause dizziness so its best to take before bed rather than in the AM. Vitamin K2 and food products such Kale which produce a lot of K2 helps the body produce more blood platelets which in most cases is great. However if you are on a platelet reducing medicine such as Clopidogrel You should not take it because it defeats the purpose of taking the drug. Also not a good idea if you are prone to blood clotting and should be avoided for at least a year if you recently had any stents inserted.

Now I am not even close to being a computer export as a matter of fact far from it, so the only thing I see when it comes to newer operating systems is fancier more confusing do dads for which I have little use.all I do on the on the internet is email, bank, and sometimes look up info on how to do something I am not familiar with or go on VR to stir the pot, so for me windows 2000 and maybe XP were just fine. From my point of view for the limited amount I use a computer all these upgrades mean to me is more time sitting in front of the computer struggling with another learning curve, I would rather do without preferring to spend my time with more physical activities instead of constantly saying to myself. Now What
