That is a nice looking ride Charlie. Good thing you are getting older though, that way you won't miss that 1st gen power quite as much as us younger fella's would :big-grin-emoticon::big-grin-emoticon:

Saddly because I spent so much time looking through my garage for stuff I should have had at hand and did not because either I misplaced it or my son (who now knows how to use tools, mostly Dads) made off with it, It totally slipped my mind to take pic's while we worked. We installed his road lights as well as a trailer hookup which required a conversion box due to the fact that the bike has amber turn signals independent of the brake lights, while the trailer only has red tail and brake/signal lights. On the second gen there is a connector under the seat by the battery. This is were we tapped into for the lighting mounting the box on the plastic behind the battery. From there we just ran the trailer cord out to the hitch, hidding it behind the chrome trim piece. For the passing lights we simply wired directly back to the battery and mounted a weather proof switch in the tank trim piece. Dogman will have to take and post some pic's I quess

Ok so wether the toilet paper comes over the front of the roll or down the back of the roll, will this determine which side of the square your finger must come through.

Mmm avon say's cosmetic huh! Maybe we should be talking to dunlop and other manufactures instead of Avon . Let them know that they need to get with it and start displaying the new cosmetic hair line cracks. I am sure it would do wonders for there sales. Whites walls are out, Hairline cracks are in. :rotfl:

Hey Condor, on your list you put me down as having 1000 miles on my tires, instead of 100 miles. You probably thought it was a misprint but it wasn't. One hundred miles and only a few months is all there was on those tires when I noticed hairline cracks all over the side walls.

And besides the mass majority of dogs are great with kids and often make good baby sitters too. As for the kids I think they should all grow up with dogs its good for their character.

How do I get brake pistons out of caliper?
saddlebum replied to jonsmyth's topic in General Tech Talk
or brake clean. thats the way i do it also and because grease does not compress like air the risk of a flying missle is reduced -
That is real nice Dave. Looking forward to see the live version.

I installed 2 venoms on my bike in NOV 2008. In MAR 2009 after reading on the site here abouit the cracking I went out to check mine and found they were cracking. At this point the bike had been parked for the winter and only had less than 100 miles (ONE HUNDRED MILES)on them, the tibs were still on the tread. The DOT yr stamp was 05/08 9The dealer replaced them without hesitation and was even willing to sustitute dunlop EII's in there place at my request.

Yeh but did you really want Charlie to know you were checking up on him. You said most people which means sometimes you do hide your number

I'm impressed -
Henkels are a great quality knife, and the are gauranteed for life. But they also now make an economy line so beware of which ones you are buying. My son used to sell cutco knives so we also have a few of them, and they to are great knives. Finally Lee valley sells a carbon steel chefs knife that really holds a razor's edge. These however do need to be thourghly dried before you put them away.

Yeh keep a close eye on the sidewalls for cracking. avons have an issue for that. If I am not mistaken it mostly the ones with the 05/08 date stamp on them

Forget the Pic's seeing you in a thong last MD was scary enough. I still have nightmares and still taking therapy because of it. Better to see a pic of Taters back in the pink and feeling like a Millon bucks:fingers-crossed-emo:thumbsup:

My Wife and I just got one too. I love it for all the same reasons I have to admit , McD's coffee has gotten to be pretty good way better then that muddy water they used to sell

Huh I think I need some clarification here. Are we talking about the one with four legs a mane and tail, the one that works beside us, or the one that is supposed to hold our pants up
