    What did you take them off for ? up here anything over 1/32 of an inch on a bonded lining (1/64 over the rivet on a riveted lining), still passes a ministry safe vehicle inspection. I too had the squealing on mine so bad that they became unsafe so I put a coating of permatex brake quiet on them and put them back on. Why unsafe , do you ask. The niose was so irratating that I became dangerously gentle on applying the brakes, just to avoid the noise.

    We use a product at work for removeing smoke damage from truck interiors after interior fire damage that works real well. But, i will have to post the name of it Monday night as I don't remember what it is called. The only thing I remember from when our cleanup guy used it, was that it was developed for this sort of thing and that it was citrus based. It worked great and when the interior of the truck was back together there was no hint of a smell at all.

    my latest aquisition is the Eureka Spitfire duo http://www.eurekatentscanada.com/products/view/11 . I Got caught in a rainstorm so bad once that I ended up with so much water under the floor that it felt like a water bed, yet no water got into the tent. this tent backs up very small and packs nicely on the motorcycle. It will sleep two people comfortably. Set up is as simple as you can get and it stands up to some real severe winds.     Steve I have 5 kids and still I cannot imagine the fear and worry, you must have gone through or the joy you must feel now, that she is found. Myself I am overcome with joy for you, just as if she was one of my own. May whatever lies ahead be an easy road to travel and I hope you never have to go through this again.
