Well put Don I disagree. I believe when someone asks for prayers they are simply asking of those who do believe in prayer and are willing to do so. I am more than sure that a good thought, or wishing one well, from those who are Athiest and/or do not believe in prayer, are just as welcome and appreciated. They certianly would be for me. I believe in mankind. I believe alot of our beliefs are from how we are raised or what the circumstances of our lives have instilled upon us. I believe that if you believe in God and feel you are a good Christian you respect and accept how others feel. I believe this holds true as well if you do not Believe in God, but feel you are a good Human Being you also accept and respect how others feel. Treat each other how you yourself want to be treated. Lastly I have always felt a joke is a joke. We joke about everything, tall people, short people, skinny people, fat people, politics, religion, nationality, skin color, hair color, short hair, long hair, no hair, good fortune, bad fortune, lifestyle, occupations, vehicales, animals, insects and the list goes on. There will always be someone who has to make a fuss. Personally I find the only real annoying thing in life are people who are always easily annoyed at something. As the saying goes If you can't laugh at yourself you have no right to laugh at others

If you have the money order would the bank not be able to tell you in whose name they issued it.

I take it the first pic was that speacial eye candy for Brad. I sure hope Rhonda isn't the jealous type or Brad will be going down again, only this time without the bike.

Sadly in many of these types of situation the cop will say " well if you got a piece of him we could lay charges " Try doing that with a bike without killing yourself. -
All I can say is it messed up my entire work day. I always go on before I go to work, but yesterday because the system was down, I spent the entire shift worrying about it, lost total on the job concentration. Heck I could have been fired, forced into taking a severance package and left with nothing to do but ride my venture all day long. I am telling you it was a close call.

How about installing a gyro in conjunction with a latching relay. As soon as the bike is upright after the turn the signal goes off. -
I was waiting for you to say something like that except i figured you would ride along as far as the border

That was a really tough break Brad. Glad that for the most part you are OK. It could have been worse good thing you were not going any faster than you were or he may have clipped you. I can well imagine what must have gone through poor Rhonda's mind as she watched it all go down. Hope she is OK as well. -
I Agree with all but the Rickards White and you left out Sleemans

Greener will be meeting us there as well

Glad to hear she is OK. Hopefully some wisdom came along with the bumps and bruises. Good to hear she wants to climb back on as well. She will likely have some shaky feelings for a while so let her find her own pace.

Fuel cock and shifting ?'s
saddlebum replied to Venture Rob's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
You probably should turn it offwhen parked. but mine has been seized in the reserve position since I bought the bike in 2006 without any ill effects so I don't think you need to loose any sleep over it if you don't turn it off all the time. I guess one day I will get around to fixing it . . someday. . . maybe. -
I have a 14 ft boat with a 25 hp mariner engine on it. The wheel are only 8" and quite often the boat gets packed with extra gear inc. putting a canoe on top. Boat trailers due to the fact that they are constantly in and out of the water tend to be hard on wheel bearings yet I have never had any problems. Because of the smaller overall wheel diameter the wheels spin much faster so make sure you use a good quality water resistant high speed grease. I actually pack mine with a high quality white grease.

I have one of these in silver http://www.hjchelmets.com/prdc_is33.htm and I really love it. The outer clear sheild is also removable by simple movement of a lever on each side. The helmet itself has great air flow speacially when the outer shield is removed, and is ver comfortable. It also comes in full face and modular.

The plastex kit comes with a block of rubber type substance that when warmed up turns to putty. form it around a good stud then use it as a mold to create a new one using the plastex. I have tried it and it works great
