Sorry to hear about your bike While your breaking them boots in don,t forget the parents. I am a firm believe that todays lack of dicipline is largely the result of modern parenting. The belief that he who loves his children shall not spare the rod was not without merit.

Looking at M/C 1/2 covers and have my eye on these two so far http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/3/13/117/36883/ITEM/Show-Chrome-Ultragard-Classic-Half-Cover.aspx http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/3/13/117/1471/ITEM/Dowco-Guardian-Traveler-Cover.aspx Both are sold by Motorcycle Super Store. The price looks not bad and the reviews are pretty positive. Has any one had any experience with these or the store itself. Have any Canadian members purchased from this company and what was your experience in dealing with them with regards to cross border shipping.

Just for the record I have had no issues at all while here at home. But last week while at my brother inlaws near St Louis I got redirected several times even when I was already on the site and I had to relog in.Clicking remember me box while I was on the site seemed to stop this. This also happened to me while I was doing an online work related exam (causing me to have one wrong answer . . NO I am not using this as an excuse ). Now, he is on a wireless internet so I wonder if that may be part of the issue.

Google the make model and serial number and quite often you will be able to locate an owners manual in pdf form right from the manufacture -

May I make two suggestions 1) instead of using the 2 female couplers use 2 bulkhead fittings this why you can mount them nice and neat . Here is a link http://www.parker.com/portal/site/PARKER/menuitem.de7b26ee6a659c147cf26710237ad1ca/?vgnextoid=fcc9b5bbec622110VgnVCM10000032a71dacRCRD&vgnextfmt=default&vgnextdiv=&vgnextcatid=10261&vgnextcat=207ACBH+ANCHOR+COUPLING&Wtky=FITTINGS 2) send me you left over class parts I will keep them for spare parts.

whats the best engine oil to use
saddlebum replied to mike042's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
liquid type oil In all seriousness I have been running Amsoil synthetic M/C oil. I change filters every 4,000 KM and the oil every 4th filter about 20,000 km. I have been thinking about going back to dino oil however because (A) it is cheaper ( although I would change the dino oil more frequently) and (B) it seems the dino oil tends to do a better job of reducing mechanical noise from the the engine. But then again I could just be imagining it -

Coolant Leak - Spraying all over me!
saddlebum replied to phertwo's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
Make sure the cap is fully tightend, sometimes it feels like it is when it is not. Try putting a preasure tester on it, preasure increases when it gets hot so you may not get a cold leak. If you don't have ready access to one let me know, I have one. Also check that your overflow hose is properly attached or not split. Instead of coolant going back to the surge tank when the preasure cap opens it may just leak at that point and only each time the cap opens to regulate rad preasure. -
An interesting article in the riders plus news letter. I am not sure what to make of it though, because my spidey sense is giving me a bad feeling. http://www.ridersplus.com/articles/news/One_Year_of_Ontario_Auto_Insurance_Reform.php

Sorry to hear you are having health issues Charlie. I hope It is more of an inconvenience, then something real serious. On the other hand you do remember this site does not use barbless hooks. so I expect to see you surface every once in awhile. Besides I still need to get up there and show you how to fish.

You can see that truck does what it was engineered to do in a head on. Its designed so that the power train goes down under the cab in case of a collision.

Some how I missed this thread until now. However whatever the situation was it sounds like your getting back and about so good luck to you.
