Yeh but they are the most effecient machine out there. They make the most amount of noise, while using the least amount of fuel, without the side effects of power.

:sign yeah that:During a big family dinner my Daughter in law will sit there texting through dinner, in the mean time my grandson is tossing food all over the place, which she just conveniently ignores and this really iritates me. When we were kids we were not even allowed to answer the phone if it rang during dinner.

wiring a trailer to bike
saddlebum replied to rondeputy's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
Never wire a trailer to a bike.........After a while due to flexing wire tends to break and you will loose your trailer............Use a proper trailer hitch.. -

the floor boards you have, are the same as what I used to have. I could never get them to stop moving around. The kurykins on the other hand, clamp on pretty solid and there is a variaty of adaptors for them. -

I found this software program for GPS's. It is a route planner that is supposed to be compatible with both Garmin and TomTom and works in conjunction with Google earth and Google maps. You are supposed to be able to plot out your route and then upload it to your GPS. I am curious If anyone is familiar with it and have tried it. Here is the link to tyre's home page http://www.tyre.tk/ It would seem to me (unless I misunderstood) that you would not have to keep updating your gps maps either if using this program. I have an old TOM TOM that I thought I would try it out on

That is usually a sign that there is a hole or air leak either in the hose between the turbocharger and air-to-air inter cooller. oh wait you don't have that. Did you check the carb mounting rubbers for splits or cracks. -
Well after messing with Waynes head, for which I once again appologize Wayne. Marita and I did hit the road about 11:30 and since she seemed to just want some alone time with me, we took the wine country roads down to Niagra on the Lake. We then followed the river road across to and beyond Niagra falls. Then worked our way back to Niagra on the lake, were we planned to grab a bite to eat, but every food joint was packed. We followed the country roads home as far as Casa blanca, were we stopped for a meal at Boston Pizza. We then took the highway home from there. This was her first time on the open highway and I am not sure, despite all my efforts to stay in one lane, stick to a comfortble flow with the traffic, allowing plenty of room, to avoid sudden movements as much as possible., and never exceding 108 km/hr, That she willingly will again, go on the back of a motorcycle, if it involves major highways. All in all though we shared a good time and it was a personal record for her. 4.5 hours and 267 km in the saddle we were out for 6.5 hours total. But the weather and riding conditions were perfect. Also saw two Ventures. A nice white and grey like skydoc's and a black 2nd gen.

Just for the record I was up and by the bike at 7:00 am did not talk to anyone (because Carl was not there) However my wife was too exhausted from feeding a large group of familly yesterday and had a little difficulty waking up
-
Hi wayne we got to bed late due to familly being over and all. As it stands we won't get out until nine add approx 1 hour to get to your place we would not get there until about Ten. Maybe if I jknew what your route was we could meet you along the way somewhere.

Bet they were not expecting this

Urgent: Brake lights inop
saddlebum replied to Smely's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Try bypassing the backoff box. Maybe it has decided to fail and left you with an open circut. At least if it is the issue, you can leave it bypassed and deal with that later.
