As mentioned in a previous thread I was thinking about setting up a Meet and Eat at the Table Top Restaurant in Burlington ON. Sat Jan 5th. this is the weekend of the Big Toronto Motorcycle show. I realiize this is a bit of a short notice (due to me being in Germany most of December) but Last years was such a great success with a wonderful turn out that I thought it would be nice to give it another shot this year. So if anyone is up for it let me know and if enough interest is indicated I will set it up. Exact time of day yet to be determined, I was thinking of about 6:00 PM----alternate Time suggestions welcome. P/S The Table Top is an excellent Restaraunt with great food huge portions. Also very easy to get to. being just a couple turns of the QEW.

I have been spending my vacation in Germany and Holland and so far having a great time. They sure know how to kick off Christmas here early with hoiliday drinks and food. I will most likely gain back all the weight I have lost over the past couple months but how can you say no to all this good food etc. Quite a few people here are still riding regardless of snow or cold. Holland even has 1st response Motorcycle ambulances. The idea is that a motorcycle can get on the scene faster and get a head start on initial care getting the victim preped and ready to move by the time the larger response vehicles arrive. Weather does not seem to stand in their way either. I will post pics when I return home.

Seeing as how I am currantly in Germany and it would require a bit of a swim, I am going to have to pass due to the fact at this time of year the water is tooooo cold. Also with regards to the one in January, I am toying with the idea of another meet and eat in Burlington, come January during that bike show, so keep it in mind. I will post another thread later to see what kind of interest there would be.

Alternatives for passing lights

At work we have been installing the following LED utiity lights on the new trucks coming through and believe me they are bright. I made the mistake of looking directly at one and even at a distance it was like staring at the sun. They come in two versions one which directly replaces a par 36 sealed beam and the other which is self mounting and is totaly weather proof. The nice thing is you ca get them from most any truck dealer or parts dealer that deals with Grote and most of them do. Here are some interesting links. http://www.grote.com/Trilliant36/ http://www.grote.com/Trilliant36/LEDConversionBulb.html http://www.grote.com/prodcat/attachments/Trilliant36InfoSheet.pdf http://www.grote.com/prodcat/attachments/Trilliant36-BulbAndBracket.pdf -
According to Seafoams web site it will treat ethanol fuels up to e-85 and stadilize fuel up to 2 years so there is no need to add stabil http://www.seafoamsales.com/motor-treatment.html http://www.seafoamsales.com/gasoline-engine-faqs.html

Also once the replacement tab has cured you ca use a blow drier or hot air gun to warm up the mold making it very easy to remove

I don't know what the issue is and don't need to know but I am sure that it can't be so bad that it could not be smoothed over somehow.

Husqvarna is ok but I would have gone with the stihl. I bought my stihl in 1989 with 28" and 18" bars I used too drop a fair number of trees and cut about 6-8 bush cord a year and to this very day even if I don't touch it for two years it fires up every time with just 2 or 3 pulls.

Just don't count on eating Icecream in New York. For some reason there is always a shortage of the stuff in that area. I understand some big guy eats it ALL as soon as it becomes availble. :cry:

I am not Familiar with the 2nd gen wiring But if your transmissions are good then the antenna is fine. Transmission is the 1st thing to go if there are any antenna issues.
