  1. Thats right .....So there are only three things you need to remember when you drop your bikeThe $5.00 dropped my bike donation turn the handle bar towards the tank one hand on the hand grip, one on the bar behind the seat and with with your backside against the bike just walk it up. Remember #1 If you have any questions regarding #1 just ask Marcarl for advice. He had trouble with that also but after practicing it three times in one weekend, he now has it down pat and is pretty much the site GURU on procedure for #1
  2. You gotta love it. Some people just have no cell phone etiquette. It kind of reminds of back in the day when smokers rudely blew smoke in your face.
  3. Yeh Eck I do believe Swifty is a different member one who definitely falls in the unseen fast moving objects category.
  4. If I may correct the above statement --There is basicly 4 types of loctite for keeping bolts and fittings from coming loose or leaking. Is blue, it is a medium strength as well as a sealer, Use on bolts of any size. Is red it is a high strength. Avoid using on bolts smaller than 3/8 of an inch or 10mm last is green it is very high strength used mainly for locking sleeves and bushings in place. Will fill a gap of .020" and once cured has tremendus strength. It can be used an very large bolts 1/2 or bigger Last there is PST it is white of low strength used primarily for sealing fittings but very useful for sealing bolts that thread into oil or water gallery's and will also help to prevent loosening. When using loctite clean parts well. Although a good wipe with a clean rag works well cleaning parts with brake clean works even better. No need to rush when assembling parts it does not cure until the part is secured in place as it cures only in absence of air. You can actually leave the bolt you applied it to on the bench all night but once threaded into place it cures in a matter of minutes. One last note there is an activator that you can spray the parts with that really speed up the curing process put unless you are skilled and quick at what you are doing I do not recommend that the average person use it.
  5. Very interesting bike. Wonder if with todays technology what an improved version would be like. Might even be good in the snow.
  6. Suuurrre It all sounds soooo good until you get there. Then you will be complaining about the heat and wishing you had come to Canada were the coooool people are .....NO I DID NOT SAY FROZEN ... I said the coool people
  7. I had a Sony Ericson 810 for about 8 years ...I was a happy man. Then at new years I listened to my son and daughter Upgradeded to a Motorola Razr hd lte or something like that
  8. I just got a new Motorola Razr HD android phone. Every time I access VR.org on it I get this app window pop up (see attachement). It also constantly pops up with every page or forum change (twice actually) and I have to touch cancel to contiue during which time I get logged off. Does anyone know what this is? is it a requirement to use the android phone to access VR or is it something else trying to horn in.
  9. Prayers sent . May the Good Lord return him strong and healthy to his young family's side

  12. Yeh hard to believe they still had such a good time without us. Just imagine the fun if we had been there.
  13. Now if I remember correctly that is a firm sign of old age. .....That or trying to get out what your trying to say, while having a conversation (usually one sided ) with the wife.
  14. ouch!!
  15. Due to the fact that a certian unnamed member lost his passport Ben (saddlebum) and Carl (marcarl) did not make it to the Detroit meet and eat. Rather then leave these two out standing members, out in the cold. A table for 4, was acquired at the China King restaraunt on the outskirts of Brantford. Dispite the short notice there was still a 50% turn out of VR members. Of course as is the norm Carl began the festivity's with a fine speech and since BradT was at the M&E in Detroit there was no one there to interupt his speech. Food was great and and at one point if you can believe it or not Carl was actually left speechless as you can see by the pictures below.
  16. You can make them as short as you like. just make sure you clamd something like small neeble nose pliers or foceps on the leads between the resistor or diode and the joint you are soldering. This will help prevent heat damage to the component.
  17. So the #1 answer is marry or live with a woman that has hording issues and problem solved
  18. Trailer being towed must be -----Behind the motorcycle Actually I just came back from there, This being my second time over there and I don't recall seeing trailer,s behind motorcycles. I can get my wife to ask her cousin when she is on skype with him next time.
  19. I guess thats one way of preserving a second Gen to last as long as the 1st gens have.:rotfl:
  20. There is also the risk of overtaxing the stater depending on the total currant draw of the entire electrical system
  21. WHHHAAATTT:scared:
  22. Yeh but unlike Carl my speech was not so long that the water glasses on the table fermented into Whine ......Right Brad ....Hey you are going to help me out here right Brad???
  23. Sounds to me that your trying to manipulate a meal here in hopes that there may be some icecream and your hopeing that none will notice if you sneak a bite or two. And I did not give a speech just introduced everyone to Omer and added in a few vwry minor coments along the way
  24. WeLLLL Bob ....It just so Happens that our Photographer ( chabicheka ) and our back up photographer (bongobobny) did not attend so Pics did not happen. Seeing as how failing to take pics of any VR event is against the VR code of ethics I believe these two for derelection of duty :backinmyday:and failing to appear. should be severly punished:pushups:and no :ICshocked: at he next Ontario M&E
