I have a two pin trailer type connector to my MC battery and on my 2 amp trickle charger. I plug a cheap wall timer into the wall set it come on for a1/2 hour every day. Plug the charger into that and plug the other end into the MC. I put the battery in in 07 and it was still going strong up to this year. Ironically I did absolutely nothing to it this winter due to the fact that I intended to replace it with a deka and yet this past Sat I stuck the key in and it cranked the bike over pretty good for a battery I basically turned my back on. It was just a stock Yuasa Bat.
I got the same message a couple days ago. I called fedex about it and the first thing she asked me was, does it ask you to click for a receipt. I told her it did and she said to delete it right away and under no circumstances to click on it. I have not received another one though.
Make no mistake:backinmyday:
If he was in the area I would have made sure of that
Aaaaaaand why come this far to only buy me one coffee:whistling:

I don't know if the 2nd gen uses the same battery as the 1st gen but for my bike ACME BATTERY on Parkdale in Hamilton carry's the Deka for $94.36 Odyssey with metal jacket for heat protection for $145.00 and without metal jacket for $135.00.
the deka has 340 CCA
the odyssey has 220 CCA with a 680 5 sec CCA burst
This is the contact info for Deka Canada, they could most likely direct you to a dealer.

Ignore Charlie he doesn't ride a Venture anymore cause he can't afford it .......The speeding tickets were killing him...
I have an 89 passing has never been a problem even with two 250 lb persons on the bike ..and if you drop a gear to be over 3000 RPM .....HANG ON
Comfort no issue I once rode 15 hrs 1000 km in one day with only breaks every 2 or 3 hours:thumbsup2:
Now keep in mind mine was 1st gen should you down grade to a second gen you still won't be disappointed.
Its a heck of a climb but I have always had the notion that once you pass the point of a survivable fall it really doesn't matter how much further you go as long as you have the strength and tenacity to keep going.
Thanks for the warning Now when I go to home depot I carry only pocket change just in case.........Of course this requires multiple trips since I can only buy a :confused24:couple nails at a time this way:whistling:
Is that how you got 15th.........Buzzing by all the legit fisherman dragging a cople mtreble hooks and snagging them off of the other lines.
Just sayin
Mine was getting so much water in it that I drilled a small hole in the lowest point of the box (as determined with the bike on the side stand) to let the water drain out.
