Sorry typo.... ....It should have read In Gas City near Marion. I have gone back and corrected it.

Remember to put the dolly leg down, drop the tail gate and disconnect the cord before you pull out from under.

I have a single king booked in Gas City near Marion Ind for Sat night (which I should be able to upgrade if need be there is also some mention of additional cots or roll-away bed if needed) but have not booked anything for Fri night as yet. Still sitting on the Fence as to whether or not I will start out Fri and stay in Sarnia Fri night or head out Sat morning and run straight through to Gas City. It depends somewhat on whether or not Dave is still going, in which case we would stay in Sarnia Fri night, considering he has to run from Barrie. We agreed to play that one by ear and adjust plans accordingly as Dave's decision may be a last minute sort of thing depending on when he can get his ducks in a row, which Him and I already discussed last week and I am ok with.

Also toss an extra 20 bucks over and above the invoice total when you pay. You will be amazed how it ups your credit score.

In other words financial discrimination.

You could always tell Nancy that Phil is your Honey moon gift to her. or not...............

Clue 2 is not much of a clue after all we are talking Canadian Government. I would be more concerned if the perp spoke with perfect English.

Frog Toggs, anyone go t'em? anything better?
saddlebum replied to Great White's topic in Watering Hole
I have had my frogg toggs for about 5 or 6 years and rode through some real day long down pours and only got a wet crotch on one occasion and that was when I happened to be dead stopped in traffic just as the sky split wide open and the water pooled on my bike seat. Dang that was cold. What I really love about them even though there may be stuff out there that is more water proof is that they breath and are supper comfortable even with extra clothing under them. P/S don't try swimming in them - under those conditions they soak up a lot of water and get real heavy - and if you must know why I was swimming in them it was because I managed to flip the canoe while fishing (Don't ask ---lets just say it was a Yammer move and leave it at that) and oh yeah I guess my crotch got a little wet that time too. -
Don there is a good chance that I might start up Friday and meet with you and Nancy in Sarnia. I may even bring Tooch with me if he decides to still go.

The wife says even with the road construction the driving is good and she actually made good time. Even though she stopped to have a conversation with a state trooper in Indiana who kindly gave her the opportunity to donate to the state treasury . Apparently the 465 is only a race track during sanctioned race days.

If it makes you feel any better (and I am only saying this so you don't feel alone) two years ago on our way home from Galena Marcarl had a bearing let go on the rear wheel of his 85 VR. We got lucky when a by passer stopped was able to help. turned out the guy had a brand new set of bearings in his garage which where for his honda but was the same as the one used in the venture. Most bearing manufacture's use a standard bearing ID numbers for bearings and seals which is etched on the bearing and seal. If you get that number of the part and try honda or some of the local jobbers you might just get lucky. -
Thanks Gary I will check it out. Turns out on her trip home my wife actually stayed in Coldwater last night. Also my key reason for choosing the route VIA Sarnia is that years ago I used to cross at Windsor and go through Detroit. Over the last Ten years or so we found it much simpler and less trouble some to avoid Detroit and cross at Sarnia. Also despite the fact the the Detroit route is supposed to be shorter and faster we found ourselves actually making better time crossing at Sarnia and following 69 right down to indy and then 70 across which will pretty much take you right to st Charles. Its just a very simple route.

My bike has been running so good on the stock unit I have not put mine in yet just keep it on hand incase the stock unit fails. Will probably get Gary to update the software in it when I go to WNY though since the currant software is probably outdated.

So as stated earlier I am still up for leaving Sat AM crossing at Sarnia, staying in fort Wayne which is pretty much 1/2 way roughly 7 - 8 hours from Burlington & and has plenty of motels. This way we would be going through Indianapolis Sunday about mid morning and traffic should be relatively light. The route I would take is posted in my earlier post in this thread. My wife Is returning from St Louis using the same route as I write this and she will be able to update me on any i(f any) road construction and conditions When she gets home.

Been a little busy so have not spent much time on site and therefore only just saw this post. After reading it I was left with three questions Have you decided yet whether or not Marca is a keeper. When do plan on listening to Marca's superior wisdom.... By now you must realize Marca is much wiser than you. And what In the world was she thinking ....it must have been one heck of a once in a lifetime hair cut. P/S Love you two and Congratulations. May the great years continue.

Sorry I did not catch this sooner Jeff. Since I been in Nova Scotia my Daughters has had me working my butt off. Details later. From what I gather all went well and your still with us. Seeing as how yesterday was my Birthday I guess having you still still around is my birthday present ...actually I am glad your still with us P/S those better not be my share of the rum balls your offering the nurses.

You mean those shut off thingy's are actually supposed to move. and here I thought it was just there as window dressing. Actually mine has been seized from the day I bought the bike and so it never gets moved

No but Carl does On another note got here safe and sound. Barely got my feet up and out comes the daddy do list:2132:. What can I say like mother like daughter . The deck im replaceing is a super friendly deck. It waves at the neighbors as you walk out twards the end of it. It sits on unsupported 2x10 joists extended 8 ft from the house which are pretty rotten.

In the trade we usuAlly see that kind of damage if 1 the wheel locked up or 2 the tire had an internl leak wear air gets up between the belt and the tread causing a bulge which soon wears off. Normally though for the second one you feel a vbration
