I am not against responsible level headed people earning the right (let me repeat earning the right) to own guns. Ironically here in Canada Bleeding hearts have a louder voice than level headed people and so whenever there is an incident the cry goes out for either banning guns or stricter controls. Yet the minute Police try to go after the real culprits or those likely to abuse, the same idiots cry out about how profiling etc is abuse of these criminals rights. Gun crime in Toronto went up by 60% almost overnight as soon the Police hands were tied from randomly checking or profiling known or likely gang members from being searched. I say let responsible people own guns after proper and thorough checks, education and testing and start coming down 100 fold on the criminals and gangsters.

and for all this we get to pay outrageous high taxes, fuel and hydro bills not to mention any other tax our government can invent. Universal health care and charter of rights and freedoms dwindling and our pension plan is a joke since refugees and immigrants get better looked after than people who spent their lives working and building this country with possible poverty as their reward. Don't get me wrong I am all for immigration, my parents were immigrants but they earned their keep became Canadian citizens and assimilated to this country's way of life, they did not come to this country expecting a free hand out, and and try to change the way of the Canadian people and abolish age old customs and celebrations, just to try to make it like their old country. I have many friends from many country's and back grounds and I believe in the freedom of practicing your own customs and religious or non-religious beliefs but not to the point were it infringes or interferes upon exiting customs or traditions. Many of these things actually help to fuel racism more than curb or hinder it because though most of us in Canada love that we have a diverse nation, and would love to live in harmony with all comers to this country, how it is accomplished matters greatly. It would be a shame if our country turned into a situation like Holland or even England which is slowly loosing its identity were being proud and flying your own country's flag is almost becoming a criminal offense.

Ok so yesterday I was in the Dealer and had a chat with my buddy there. According to him the reason they did not use the V4 was because they wanted to go to 1800+ CC. Building a new 1800+ V4 with shaft drive would have resulted in an extremely heavy bike and they wanted to try to keep the weight down as much as possible.

You can mix different brands of oils with similar specifications. And some synthetics are compatible with non synthetics. But you really should never mix different grades or multi grades. EG: do not mix 5W30 with 15w40.

Yup I call it the electronic cocaine......As far as not being able to do stuff I had some young buck chastise me for scaling the tire rack to toss some truck tires down...some fool thing about being 64 and hurting my self. told him that was not going to happen and he bluntly said I don't know that. My reply was you may not but Iknow because growing up I climbed real trees, poles, cliffs and side of building instead of virtual ones. Yup the whistle is how Dad called us and how I called my kids and how my Grand children call me...except there whistle is a high pitched whooo whooo imitating a whistle, Cute as can be. But now there are these overly sensitive people who think its just soooo wrong and frown on you for it. I will take the fresh country air filled with the sweet smell of fresh cut hay on a country breeze, the earthy aroma of cow or horse manure, even the strong scent of pig or chicken manure over the the automotive and industrial stench of city smog any day. The open cool dirt roads over crowded hot city streets. The laid back coziness of a country store over the hustle and bustle, pushing and shoving of the City any time.

When I upgraded to windows 10 I hated it, I had nothing but problems. Finally after doing an update my laptop got so messed that my screen only flickered off and on like a strobe light. I now had to go running for help. Into the picture jumps Wizard765. Wayne completely wiped my hard drive and did a clean install, now I am very pleased with windows 10 the difference in performance between the upgrade and the clean install is like day and night. Our work computers also had the windows 10 upgrade done and we found all types of issues with the diagnostic software we use to work on the on board computer systems on the Volvo trucks. I mentioned my situation to our IT guy and so he did like Wayne wiped the laptops and performed a clean install. Now our Diagnostic software works like it was intended and no more issues. The moral here IMHO if your going to windows ten do the clean install and save yourself a lot of grief.

One good fortune is that though I do not live in the country I also do not live in the city so I still get to see deer, foxes, coyotes, Raccoons, opossums, skunks, squirrels, rabbits and and abundance of birds inc Hawks and eagles. Don't have Bald eagles in our area though. plus its only a short trip north and 2-4 hours and your into some great wilderness camping country which draws me my sons and now my grandsons into some great back country canoe trips. last year I learned two interesting things. My loon call is good enough to draw a male loon into coming right up to the canoe and challenging me with counter calls and displays of aggression water dance over territorial rights, which had some in the party laughing and others terrified. The second thing we learned is bears love mint toothpaste and will tear your gear apart to get at it, so don't take tooth paste if your camping in bear country, use a bit of salt instead. We also do not have far to go for some good fishing. as close as 10 minutes from the house all depends on what you want to catch and whether or not you want to catch and release or if you want to eat it. We dont care to eat the fish we catch close to home due to pollution but the fish north of us is good eat'n.

I feel you brother I so miss not living in the country. So many of my friends say "but there is nothing to do in the country" and yet I can find more things to entertain me in the country than I do in the city. Guess it depends on what you enjoy doing.

This is one heck of a great idea and sure wish I could attend. But since MD was cancelled, my daughter in Nova Scotia snagged a good deal on flight tickets, she is going to be flying out to visit with us for a while at that time. I looked at some pictures of the area and it looks like like beautiful country, would have loved to go.

I am going to say the second rider is Trader and the hand is Becky. I do not remember the name Of the guy in the hat only that he was a kind generous stranger who popped out of no where, when in Sudbury the rear bearings in Marcarls bike failed. He led us to his house where he gave us the use of his Garage and tools o fix Carls bike.

Hey Don XV1100SE is the quality as good as the ad suggests? Over the years I have had my share of screwdrivers that just don't stand up and prefer not to throw money at something that is not going to last.

Rick you are one lucky SOB. What ever Guardian Angels you were blessed with worked over time on this one. Best pray they keep up the good work. As far as the bike goes at the end of the day its just nuts and bolts. Also you may not be able to buy the bike back but maybe they will let you check it out to see what went wrong.
