That's what we have used in the trucking industry for years to remove pin stripping or sign painting (before decals became the non-talent art form)

Heading to Canada Jun 8th. Any advice from the Veteran riders?
saddlebum replied to Kernal's topic in Watering Hole
Just had a thought Since Flyinfool has probably got the snow machine down for its annual maintenance, so it will be in top form come next winter.. and y'all so appreciated the fine job him and I did providing some great winter fun.... I figure maybe I'll leave the screen door open as well as the back door, so we can share our black flies with y'all for the benefit of those who are unable to make it to Canada :canada:for our Black fly open season -
The guy that invented them personal financial gain at our financial....and mental expense

Yeh but ...You won,t need a permit to hunt them.....Were pretty liberal up here when it comes to hunting Black flies.....If memory serves me right there is no catch limit either. -
Look in the Tech section If memory serves me right there are some good instructions there,-. Ok so I looked for you http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?10518-Clutch-Upgrade This one is for a 1st gen but the procedure is pretty much the same. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?491-Barnett-Clutch-Installation

Some time back there was a post re: or should I say complaining about the new pain in the butt spouts on new fuel cans. But I could not find it it back. Reason I was looking for it is because I just stumbled upon this video I wanted to add to the post.

As stated no firearms. Also beware of certain foods meats and fruits in particular (that goes both for entering Canada and returning to the states) Both country's have an issue with that as they fear possible cross infestation of bugs and virus etc.. Be polite Going both ways and answer all questions openly and honestly even when you think the answer is obvious. Some questions are designed not for the answer itself but to see what your reaction is. And don't overdo it. You should be able to get a check list of what is and is not allowed. Bottom line today most border patrol guards in both directions are pretty decent so just be upfront with them and you should have no issues. With regards to clothing think in layers so you can build up or reduce warmth level as even a hot day can turn into a cold night or even a damp day the next day. Wool socks are always a good bet, as they are warm on cold days even when they get wet, comfortable and do not cause your feet to sweat so much on hot days. Distance between fuel stops could be a challenge as they roll up the carpet early up in those areas, so I often carry a spare fuel container. Even a one liter/quart fuel bottle can be a life saver and give you some peace of mind. Last and most important enjoy enjoy and enjoy -
What do mean might.......2 bikes to support one tent would be like the Taj Mahal to @Yammer Dan.

maybe he thought if he staples them........they would be more staple in a wind storm... -
You would not be the 1st to show up on a BMW at MD. But whether or not your gonna be the 1st to handle the ribbing.....Now there's the question......... Let the fun begin....

My mother lives in one of these life lease projects for the retired. What a rip off they are. You would think the Rotary Club was an organization that would help the elderly instead of ripping them off. Any way she had water leaking into the house right about the time we had a big wind and rain storm. When she called them they tried to tell her that it was probably coming from a pipe and could not be from the roof because it was just re-shingled. (bet your butt I will be giving them a call). Unless some one here knows something I don't know I find it pretty hard to believe that inside pipes only leak during a heavy driving rain and then stop when the sun comes out. Plus just because they re-shingled the roof does not mean that any of the flashing was properly done. Wonder if it was the same person that suggested to @Yammer Dan to try the light switch 1st, -

Be honest ----you probably stopped lookin once you spotted something for the Motorcycle. -
Hey Flyinfool Do some Achilles tendon stretches preferably every day and before you go out to the bike. Start slow and build up. Stand away from a wall arms length with hands on the wall. then slowly lean into the wall until your chest touches while leaving your feet flat on the floor. Another method is lay a piece of 2x4 or book on the floor. while using some sort of support (wall, counter, dresser ETC) stand with your toes on the board. lower yourself slowly until your heels touch the floor. hold for ten seconds then rise up on your toes and do it again. Move slowly you want the tendons to slowly stretch not snap like an elastic. using the wall is gentler but using the 2x4 or book method also strengthens the calf muscles and you can adjust/raise the height as you improve. Its lack of elasticity in the tendons that causes tendon injury and by doing these stretches you make them more pliable. I learned the hard way by totally detaching a tendon, which I ripped loose while running and leaping across a dry river bed during the Guntersville AL international. Dr says there are 3 tendons I now have only 2 attached but he said the 2 would gain strength to make up for the missing third. He said had I done some tendon stretches prior to skipping off across the river bed it would not have happened. Now that I only have two I stretch all the time and I now do not even notice the difference anymore.

You must of missed this post http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?133635-A-Very-Special-Day-Today The Tooch back in November. I am sure you recognize the breed. He's growed a bit since then. He is now 7 months old.

I should be getting some green stuff credited back to me for all the fun white stuff I have been helping to provide for all your pleasure and enjoyment. You left out the smiling fun loving Ontario VR riders that come down to put smiles on their faces 2 or 3 times a year. Yeh about that. Not trying to leave Flyinfool to fend for himself here. Just been a very busy time. Both my younger brothers had emergency bypass surgery. One had 5 bypasses 4 clogged arteries and an aneurysm and the second a triple. So because the hereditary card was thrown on the table by the doctors My other younger brother and I been going through tests. thankfully he is been cleared but the jury is still out on me. The new pup has been occupying much of my time and I have been very busy with work. Sounds like we need to get our heads together and work out the possibility's.

And this is why no one, and I do mean no one is as good at picking up a dropped bike as our one and only @Marcarl
-
I put me down as a maybe but booked the time off just the same. Got a lot of stuff going on this summer. for one my daughter and husband are moving back to Ontario from Nova Scotia. When depends on when the house gets sold. Two of my younger brothers just had multiple bypass surgery and so I just completed what I hope is the last of a bunch of tests and scans for the same, at the advice of theirs and my doctors since it tends to run in the family. Hopefully I get back good news. My wife is spending a lot of time in Highland IL just outside of St Louis to give her sister a break in caring for their father who is on at home dialysis. So as you can see its gonna be a squeeze play for me. but I have every intention of making it happen. Save my camp site for me just in case. and if you can't remember which spot is mine just ask the Ladies, they know.

Yeh just give him one without a kickstand he always forgets to use it anyway, hence the convert to three wheel P/S put me down to test ride one too.(one with a kick stand)

Its says I gotta cough up more coin in order to share my wisdom with all you Varmits. I also notice you Americans must like Canadian money more than American money cause you always want more of our dollars than you do of your own.

Hey ya don't always have to copy everything I do. Even if it is as close to perfection you'll ever get. The only reason its cost me is cause the only time I get to speak is at a dinner I got to pay for. Thats only cause your too busy eating to speechify gives me a chance to squeeze in a word or two or three or four, oh heck, and maybe just maybe a few more.

You sure you Don't mean A SilvrT linnng
