Great find. Had one that color and really liked it. Those are great bikes. :happy65: BOO -
If it were me I would just install or have installed a new sink BUT I'm not a big fan of the stainless steel sinks unless you buy a really good one. BOO

Didn't you know the center line is only for reference? Although the film has been speeded up a bit it apprears they were not going very fast, sure was not leaning much on the curves. Nice road though, BOO

Grab another cup of coffee ECK. He said "1200" not "2012". I have owned a couple of the 1200cc bike but unfortunately I don't know the answer to his question but their are several 1200 forums also. Have a good day bud, BOO

I did Daytona once. Not impressed, to many people etc. A person should do it at least once I guess. I don't think the local people really want the bikes there even though it's a money maker. BOO

Who Makes These lights
BOO replied to cabreco's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
Very good. I have a first gen rear mud flap that has 4 of the single minis on it. The lens are faded almost clear at this point. The flap is on my 01 second gen. Glad you were able to find the lens. BOO -

I don't know if you ended up ordering from this company or not but I just ordered some lens and it turns out the lens gets shipped from the factory. Sounds like it may take 10 days or so. Not a problem for me but I thought I would just post additional information. BOO -
Is there a safe way to get through Chicago on a bike?
BOO replied to Flyinfool's topic in Watering Hole
Of course I live up by the Wisconsin border and go east or southeast several times a year. I got to tell you there is never a time when there is no traffic. I usually leave early also around 4 or 4:30 from my house to avoid any of the work traffic and there is usually people going to work every day including Sat and Sun. Even if the traffic is heavy in the morning it will be lighter by the time you are half way around Chicago. I usually ride in the right lane or the second lane. Less cars to have to watch. Right lane all you have to deal with is the merging traffic. My route is 94 to 294 to 80 into Indiana. There are lots of ways around but they are much longer and probably not to much safer. Good Luck and keep on your toes. BOO -
I heard the GPS units are going to get pretty cheap because all the new phones have navigation on them or have excess to the INTERNET for navigation. BOO

I use to stop at the rest area's and take a nap on a picnic table for a few hours but I haven't done that for over 10 years. I don't think I could move after sleeping on one now and the way people are today someone would probably cut my throat and take the 50 cents I have in my pocket. As for the Iron Butt, I have never tried that and have no desire to but I have traveled over 800 miles in a day and usually travel 400 to 500 miles a day if I'm headed somewhere. BOO

Although that is probably where the leak is, that sink cabinet more than likely has a back in it soooooo you are either going to have to cut the back out of the cabinet or remove it to get to the drain pipe. I found a leak like that a few year ago where the joint had no glue on it at all. Good luck, BOO

Moss on cedar shingles is not a good thing. It means there is a lot of moisture in the shingles and although the cedar is rot resistant if they are wet for some length of time they do designate. More important the underlayment under the shingles is getting destroyed. Most cedar shingles today are laid down over solid sheeting, plywood or strand board (Sp) and neither can handle moisture for any length of time. I don't offer a cure for your issue because there probably isn't one. It would certainly help to clean the roof though. BOO

Looks like you did good. Welcome back. BOO

The best ones are the ones that turn off when the battery is charged up. Not sure that price has anything to do with it but I bet the more expensive ones are the ones that shut their selves off. I would also check for drainage. And I don't think you should have hook up the charger every time you get off the bike. I only put the tender on in the winter time and never charge in the summer unless someone forgets to turn the key off. BOO

From my experience you are going to want the load as level as possible. If the hitch is to high when you brake it will have tendency lift the rear of the bike and if the hitch is low it will have tendency to push down on the bike during braking. Ideally you want good tongue weight and a level trailer. Of course it will look good too. BOO

Yeah what the guys said. Now a days they can match the color with a computer. Just take something in to the body shop that has the color on it and that magic little machine will match it for you. Good Luck BOO

Security system, worth it or not?
BOO replied to cabreco's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
I'm thinking I have never heard of a bike being stolen except for the HD's. Most of them are stolen because you don't need a key to start them and they just start them and ride away. I guess we did have a dirt bike stolen from our front yard one night because the kid was to lazy to put it away. I have stayed in some real questionable places but usually having my bike stolen was not my concern. I have insurance so let them have it if they want it that bad. I have one of those $50 cables with the round key but can't say I've ever used it. Not sure why I bought the thing. When staying overnight I just lock the steering. I've alway thought at putting a secret shutoff switch somewhere was about as good as anything. BOO -
Looking forward to some more copies. Thanks for the effort. I probably had all of them at one time but they got thrown out. BOO

I didn't have the same sort of problems with a dealer one time but the title did get in the wrong name. In mine instead of the wife but I pressured them into refunding some money because of the screw up and I ended up getting a credit at the dealership for $22.00. What the ell was I suppose to do with that. Still have it somewhere I guess. BOO

That was my thought also. And I might be guilty of doing that myself. BOO

Don't waste your time if you don't like trivia...
BOO replied to DANGEROUSDANA's topic in Watering Hole
I usually will stop for a little break while traveling on the bike and have a diet coke and a snickers. Don't like the taste of the coke product with sugar in it but do love those snickers. BOO -
I'm lucky to get the chute open let alone hit the target. Did make me smile this am though. BOO
