That sure is PURTTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:rotfl: BOO

GPS is you have one, like someone said I use it for its accuracy most of the time. If you are on an expressway where there are mile markers, then with a little math. One mile in a minute is 60MPH.... One mile in 50 seconds is about 70MPH. I had a speed odometer cable slither out of the housing one time but I just went with the flow of the traffic. BOO

Steve, Not sure when I bought this one, got to be close to 10 years ago though. I'm sorry to say I don't ride it much, probably once in the last 2-3 years. It has a charging problem and I just have not bothered to fix it, one of these days. I also had a Triumph Bonneville, 1967 650. Had the header pipes that went under the bike and made a lot of noise LOL. Had it repainted "Racing Green" No pictures. BOO

Yeah that is kind of what I was thinking after him mentioning taking the fold-over pieces out. Also this also shortens the length of the antenna, physically and electrically. They always tell you not to key up the transmitter when the SWR is not adjusted right but you have to do it anyway to adjust it. I don't think I have ever heard of anyone frying the finals just by keying it up for a second or so. Almost sounds like the system is completely grounded. Good Luck, BOO

My wife better not see this post buddy or you are in trouble, she's been harping about doing one of these for some time. Can I bribe one of the moderators to delete this post????? Hurry!!!!! Thanks, BOO

I had mentioned my BSA in a post recently and had a request to put some pictures in my Gallery. The pictures there are not real good, I'll have to take some better ones some day. Enjoy, BOO

Glad to hear you are doing good. You'll be riding again in no time. BOO

Oh yeah, I like the old bikes and ride with people that have them. One of the guys just bought a new Street Glide last year, nice bike. I agree with most everything you said but the Harley guys are way too sentive about their bikes, they make to easy a target for poking fun. They give it right back to us and of course if something happens to one of our "Jap" bikes we never hear the end of it LOL. I have a 1965 BSA in the garage, neat old bike but I can't ride that thing very far, beats me to death but I enjoy it at times on some of the shorter rides. BOO

Think that is one of the amf bikes. Those people should have stayed with making bowling balls. The amf years were terrible, even the dealers had a hard time getting those bikes to run out of the box. The Cream Colored one I posted here on the forum before was a 1978, bad bad bike. Only kept that one about 10 months. The 1956 I had was a way better bike for what it was. Went from a mini bike to the 74 CI. LOL Good Luck Squid with the bike, BOO

Seems only animals can show thier true feelings. Great Video, BOO

Brad, do you really think the LEO's are going to check our mufflers with all the HD's running straight pipes out there? I doubt it. Even with the pipes drilled completely out they are probably quieter than an HD with stock pipes. BOO:rasberry:

Do you have the Yamaha Trunk Bag?
BOO replied to Freebird's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
I bought one of those down at Litchfield Honda/Yamaha open house last spring. Limited colors, Red but just my color. $20.00 and it works great, came with a cover. I thought I would use it but so far I have not. Wife just ships UPS when we go somewhere. But for the price I could not pass it up. I doubt that I would ever use the rain cover anyway, the bag itself is water repellent, whatever that means. BOO -
Okay I still want them but I usually carry around a 20oz in the mornings and end up drinking about 40oz of coffee before noon. Guess I'll have to either cut down to 28oz or increase to 42oz. I have a place I stop for coffee in the morning and they will fill up whatever size you have for $1.00. Nice looking mugs, BOO

Link doesn't work for me? BOO
