I had one shipped to me several years ago and they just kind of formed the windshield with cardboard. Lot of tape.. Doubled and tripled in places.
I think standard insurance is around $200.
Any way it got to me in great shape.

I use to get 40-41 real regular until I read the post about setting the floats on the carbs. Mileage went up to 43-44 pretty much all the time. I get the same running 70-75 mph down the interstate but if I bump up to 80-85 it gets down in the low 30's. Speed is a mileage killer on these bikes. I'm a pretty good sized guy and I have an oversized wind shield that I run year around. Tire air pressure will knock the mileage down also. Whole bunch of little things can take away from your mileage.

I was stationed in Kenitra, Morocco at the time and the best I could do was check it out in the next addition of Look magazine. My daughter was born on August 14th and I was sitting in the waiting room waiting for her to arrive reading the magazine. Fastest news I could get at the time.

I have one of these dilemmas this coming weekend. I have been going to southern Indiana the last weekend in June for about the last 10 years. Been rained on a couple of times but nothing serious. Looks like there is about a 50 percent chance of rain on my end and on the other end also so I'm trying to decide if I will drive or ride.
I bet the riding beats out the driving.
