@Golf&Venture i have a fair amount of experience with Air Force bases. My daughter, son in law, and one of my sons all served in the Air Force. Another son in law was Army. I do recall the pride they all expressed when we visited. I appreciate your advice and while I may not visit, you brought back some pleasant memories. Thanks

My Uclear and my old Chatterbox lasted all day using Pandora and GPS through my phone and the occasional intercom. We just have the habit of bringing our helmets to the hotel room and plugging them in. We elected this after having corded comms and forgetting on occasion to unplug, especially after a long ride. Not disaggreeing, Don, just sharing what works best for us.

My wife and I are looking for advice on sights to see for a non-bike vacation. She will be in Colorado Springs for business the week of Aug 31 and I will join her Sept 4. We plan to rent a car and see whatever we can fit into a one week time period. We are are no longer into extreme hiking but when we do a vacation we are on the go and trying to see as much as possible so we tend to prefer scenic and historical sights. Since she will be in Colorado Springs we will start out from there and will end up in Denver where are flights are in/out. thanks in advance for any tips/help

As I recall, my new guards came with rubber spacers. As you mentioned they were a rubber hose sliced lengthwise

I believe my Wolo air horn was $35.00 at O Reilley Auto Parts. It was a couple bucks cheaper the Harbor Freight. You can order a stainless mounting bracket from member carbonOne. He also has a plug n play wire harness with the needed relay. Both high quality and makes the install very easy and fast.

There is at least one write up by another member who dissected several filters and determined their motorcycle filter was inferior quality. I believe it was similar to the Yamaha factory filter in (lack of) quality. I don't recall the reason(s).

If you don't have a floor jack for under the tire as mentioned above you use a 2x4 under it. All it takes is a momentary lift to take the weight off to slide the bolt out

There are some drops and twists in and out of the filter. I think gravity flow works best when avoiding the filter, as in an emergency repair to get you to where you get the pump fixed

The jack adapter is great but without it you can use some wood blocks or even hockey pucks. Just be careful of the sidestand switch
