    Maybe a little late, but I installed the clutch kit sold on this forum (80$) that includes a new spring and extra friction disc and gasket, totally resolved the slippage I was getting at higher loads...good luck with your clutch change....

    Removed the fairing, (easy) and cleaned the audio plug with pin cleaner....if it happens again, what is the harm in doing away with the plug and soldering the wires together...seems like a permanent solution?.....

    Thanks, I do all my own work and having a manual to get familiar really helps....great forum and my new venture is growing on me..had a 91 wing....Mick

    Got a new to me 06 venture...only yammie manual available...which other model uses the same engine, frame, etc....that the venture uses and has haynes or chylmer manuals available?..what do you all use?....thanks, Mick

    I bought it at a Yammie dealer...I can I tell if it's still under warranty...remember it's an 06...I did research some on this forum and figured out a plan...thanks..

    Got a new to me 06 venture with 29K miles for 9K$...very pretty and have been enjoying riding around this week..the only glitch so far is that sometimes the audio controls freeze up and I can't do anything with it...turning the ignition off and back on sometimes helps, most of the time not...then, for no apparent reason, it works normally again....any ideas?...thanks to all, Mick....previous bike was a 91 wing....
