I will try to remember when I get on the desk top to post some pics. Its been quite a while now since I did it, but paint still looks pretty dang good. The finish is sort of a dull bumpy thing. but my son had the sealer stuff they also sell and it makes it a little less dull.
M61A1MECH:you going to head down?
Tom how about you? You camping out at the Hammocks? Aslo folks heads up. This weekend is the US Sport aviation weekend out at the airport. So will be kind of busy around town. But if you like airplanes you could go and check them out.
I presume you are talking vent hose for fuel tank at neck? It may have a check valve in it, which is only going to allow air flow into the tank. The cap should vent, but to make sure you are getting flow thru the little tube I would open the cap as you may not be able to over come the relief of the cap.
Well if I had one of them old timey looking Triumphs might look into it. For now just blast'em with LED's. LOL Cool idea though. I remember going from a standard bike to a frame mounted fairing. One thing i had to get use to was the headlight did not move when cornering like it did when headlight was mounted on forks.
Question. The date is the 23. But somewhere I lost what month? I recall something about a Sat meet. Seems to me Jan 23 is a Sun. Also, should this maybe be moved over to the meet and eat forum?
That must be in Connecticut. Some of the goofiest roads I think I drove were there. Trees almost in middle of road, Road goes right to edge of huge tree then turns, roundabouts out in the middle of absolutely nowhere for any reason.
I say that a lot around here. Everytime I see one of them high jacked up 4wd with 4 shocks per corner, big tires and wheels and all sorts of chrome stuff under the truck. You got to know that the closest thing to off road they go is when they miss the driveway.
So far only have the few hundred miles from where I bought it home. Other than a couple trips back and forth to work which is about 12 miles round trip. lol
2013 had 20,500 miles when we bought it. Passenger arm rests, 2" pull back handlebars, driver backrest, kuryakyn highway pegs (even though I can reach them) adjustable windshield. Rubber is good although I need to check the date codes.
Well after years of struggling with the top heavy RSV I traded the other day. Now I got something I can actually get both feet flat on ground with no mods, Fuel injection (no more sync carbs) I can back it up with out the wife helping and it feels a lot lighter even though almost the same weight.
