  1. Man I sure dont know where this bolt is, but if you access maybe try a left hand twist drill bit. The reverse direction of bit will sometimes back the broken piece out as your drilling
  2. I found that Oreilys has WIX filters for good price. And the Wix filters fit right. Even on my Victory it uses the same filter the RSV did. I still use the long option.
  3. You all got diesels up there? Check out Shell Rotella T6. Its full Synthetic 10w40 I think and JASMO rated for bikes. It is a diesel oil.
  4. Kitchen pass on my end. From the boss.
  5. Hmm sounds interesting. Only thing I left from camping gear we had once is a sleeping bag and coleman lantern. I was looking for a ride this summer. Now if I can only get a kitchen pass.
  6. So is thing easy enough a Cave Man can install and run I E Puc or me?
  7. I have since change settings to what Don mentioned. I think I should be good. I am however thinking about this ORACAL thing someone posted. If it would allow some games I have that will not run on Win but did on 98
  8. I have been laughing at some of these posts. That is until I started my PC the other morning while having my morning coffee before work. There it was a blue screen with something like "welcome to windows 10" Oh no you dont!!! It asked something about continue with install. I promptly clicked on NO and it reinstalled Win 7. P PHEW talk about your close calls.
  9. I was on my home from Daytona Speedweeks. Riding south on I 95 it had funneled down to 2 lane construction, jersey barriers on one side, orange barrels on the other. @ trucks tieing up both lanes, back and forth neither making any more speed than the other. Cars stacking up behind. So there is 1 car in front of me and like 3 behind me and about the same on the other lane. Like 20-30 min later it felt like we finally got no barriers, and I think the truck in the right lane made an exit. Finally the car hauler I was behind moved over about the same time we gained a lane. I moved far right and maneuvered to get by this mess. About that time I heard the slap slap and then POW a blow out on the trailer. LOL Karma is a B. Lock up 2 lanes for 30 min and never think about moving over. GRRR
  10. I just use an inexpensive soft sided cooler. Actually 2, one inside the other for a little xtra insulation. Smaller one, I guess you could fit a 6 pack in it but not much more. Toss a cold pack in and sandwich, chips and a couple cookies.
  11. Not mine.
  12. Send Microsoft a bill for the new PC you had to buy because it buggered yours up.
  13. I posted it here somewhere. But Oct 15 I was going to take a ride up the Dragon. As I approached the very first turn up from the South end there where the Gas station/restaurant is a big a$$ 18 wheeler comes rounding the corner, completely in my lane. Truck to the left and..... well like 2 maybe 3 ft of grass on right then.......Well a motocross bike wouldnt do me any good. Lucky I managed to get just far enough off the road to miss the truck and not go tumbling down the hill. I was blowing the horn and all kinds of stuff, but the truck didnt even stop to see if he killed me. I will not go back on the Dragon until the eliminate those things being allowed on there. I dont know maybe put a concrete chicane or something at the beginning of each end. If you make it thru you get a pass.
  14. Couldnt you just use the restore feature and go back a week or so to last restore point?
  15. I have an LG G3 and cant wait to ditch it. This phone has been shutting off, changes screens to something different than I want. All kinds of bad things. Been doin this for like 6 months or so now. It must know the contract is about up. So far both cell carriers I have had Sprint and Verizon both have needed a booster in the house to work. Sprint would "lend" you one as long as you had service with them. Verizon I had to buy a $200 "extender" so my phones would work in the house. So I am looking at Total Wireless service. It runs off Verizon towers but I can not get a definite answer if my $200 booster will work with that service. Between Verizon and Comcast I work like a week and half for them. I bought a used Iphone from a friend solely for the ipod use on the Victory. But I am thinking if I can figure out how to use the phone after being android since smart phones came out I may just activate it.
  16. The more I read up on the issue with the motor in question, if I find one at rite price I dont think it would sway me away. Seems a couple tanks of Techron or seafoam then a slight warm of the engine, they say room temperature and you dont have any troubles. I do my own work so only person I have to pay is me. The guy aint got back to me yet so I dont know what to think on that deal. The Navigators a really nice as they are usually optioned out nicer than a high end Expedition. Also I think the Navigator is air bag in back, dont know about Expedition. May depend on option level. I think real springs would be way to go on age of truck I'm looking at.
  17. I cant see nothing. No picture to look at. Kind of har to vision what your saying. But if the spring has a flat plate and the axle does also, yea I can see it being bolted direct.
  18. I wouldn't use any petroleum product on rubber. Petroleum and rubber dont mix well. Now a little dielectric grease which is a silicone product will do the same and not eat the rubber.
  19. AGM need an entirely different "battery tender" thing from what I have read. The way you charge up a AGM is suposedly different. I dont know how when your bike is going to charge it the same way as a wet cell.
  20. Thanks Sort of got a couple things in my head. Also have a 03 I think Exped with a 4.6 and 92k. Price sounds good @ like $2500, but it says has engine knock. So I'm thinking more than likely a rod. So some KBB research shows in good shape is a 4200 car, a long block rebuilt is about 3000. So me thinks he is going to have to get off the 2500 for it to be worth while to me. I hate to tell him but that is about a $1000 car. He will probably want to shoot me if I offer him that much.
  21. You can do multiple in a post
  22. Great. It was all I could do to get them to fit in the dang box. LOL I felt like I needed to leave at least one together as an example.
  23. We could use some of that there cool weather. Been in 90s for a couple weeks now. Humidity in the 60,70 range
  24. OK so I'm looking at Navigators and Expeditions. One of the Navigators I was looking at had a 5.4, but it said in description "good" 5.4 ingintech or something like that. Is that an OK motor? I think it was like a 2003. Looked pretty clean and taken care of. I probably could suffer thru the plug thing, but you know if you dont have to mess with something that has a 80% chance of mucking up..........
  25. My RSV got the same thing. Only way I could get rid of it was take the handle out of fixture, and I used either moly grease like you use on rear splines or I have used anti-seize. Get it on the bolt and also on bushing in handle if you can. Clean out the area where the plunger is on handle are also. The grit could cause noise.
