  1. SHOOOOT 750 miles????? That aint even the first oil change. Buyers remorse? Bought it then got shamed by his HD friends about no T-Shirts? Maybe If its right it will work out Mike. Your cash is green and spends all day everyday, well until say Nov 8th. Then who knows we may be trading in Pokemon cards or something.
  2. We have also been considering the "full time RV route. Probably a fifth wheel toy hauler. Something to think of on the slope down. what if once the front wheel is in and you get to the last say 2 ft or so you have a couple 2x6 cut to length and drive the rear wheels up into to make level so it dont bottom out. I have read on here where a couple of guys were trailering the trike and frame bottoms out once front wheel hit the level part of trailer and the rears are still lower because of the beaver tail.
  3. Cooler in low 90's but still FREAKIN HOT

  5. I have not read much about it since the initial release of the bike I guess. I think maybe it could have been in the running when I was looking. Defiantly one of the best touring bike on the road. Even without a trunk if you had a backrest and luggage rack you can pack some serious gear.
  6. sounds like on set of dehydration.
  7. My big bone to pick with Honda on the F6B is why oh why in the world did they take a bike with nice touring chops and strip off and not offer an available upgrade to add stuff. NO Cruise!!! What the heck were they thinking?? No GPS or option. Just seems silly. Victory Octane.
  8. Barry, does it not have a connection to run power to it via a micro (phone type) charger while on bike? The little ION I just got has. Actually going on a ride today with the group from the Victory dealer in Lakeland on a lunch run. I have it mounted up and going to try it out. Some of the complaints on my camera is the "fish eye" perspective 180 deg lens. I think I am just going to run the camera on the trip leaving the dealer, not all the way over. Mine uses a micro SD card max 32gb. So they say about 2hr record is all you get. I bought 3 off e-bay for about $20.
  9. Why not? Got to have new widgets to sell.
  10. I have used a Garmin 765t for many years. Not a bike specific made unit but it is able ro upload a route you make. I use Tyre, its a free program. I also think Tyre is making an app, so you might look it up and see. For planning out a route, and getting a good idea how long and where you might need fuel etc, microsoft street and trips is nice and the newer version is able to save as GPX files.
  11. I just bought an ION Speed Pro. Not a bad little camera for under $80.
  12. About .25 If your looking to go somewhere and want to check prices go here http://www.gasbuddy.com/ they also have an app. If you look at the top header area, there is a map option so you can get a ruf idea what your looking at for prices by color.
  13. Dang man. Glad for the most part your OK. I use to heal pretty quick. Now days I'd bee months healing up a scrape like that.
  14. @Barrycuda, let me know too. We are heading to Nc from the 8th to the 16th on the bike. Sat or Sun works for me. I could ride up to which ever road your crossing over on and we could run across together. I have run this route several times when going up to Daytona.
  15. So maybe if you can find parts, one of them cell phone repair shops can do the trick.
  16. Several of those kind of rides up there Tom. Here is the one they call "the loop". Kind of runs along the inland water way then a left over towards US 1. Here is a site that has a bunch on the map of the state so now you can find one anywhere.
  17. Just because they are LED, dont mean they are not power hogs. So someone here tells me. You might have to look inside the light itself and check connections. I know some of the LED stuff I have bought, the wires are very small and can get tweaked ad broken easy. guess how many strands of wire it takes to make a connection for 12v?

I think ignition leads are probably good place to look. Moisture will help the spark "leak" out the easiest path. Unfortunately I do not think the coils on the second gen (or first gen for that matter) are able to replace just the wires. You can replace the caps. On my FJ 1200 coils you could. Also for those FJ Dyntech I think it was made a replacement coil.
  19. Man that is a tough one. Liability insurance is something I would sure want to figure in the mix. Seems that is the new get rich scheme. I supose kind of depends on included shop equipment and technology equipment also. Scan tool , alignment machine etc. Is it up to date? If your in the biz you know what I mean.
  20. Well first place I would go ask is the GW specific sites. Some of the guys have GW and may be able to point you in the right direction. But that is where I would start. Or a parts fiche and see if its a replaceable part. Who made it?
  21. My thought is look at ground for the spot lights. If the LED's operate normally, and the spot lights go dim. I kind of think maybe thatsw a good place to look for a ground issue. What are you using for a ground? Are you sure its a solid ground?
  22. Fuel safe epoxy once cleaned.
  23. Had an old Lawn Boy 2 stroke mower that got the same way. I had to use a cordless drill to start. I think compression was down on it also. My current Crafstman weed whacker has been finicky too. Its the carb on it, dang crummy gas now with alcohol in it gums them up. I had to break of some "tamper" caps off the set screws. I started out seat screw in and about 2 out on both. Clean plug and tune it in.

    LED Lights

Bigger relay?? The Bosh type relays are typically rated @ 30amp. So is the main fuse on the RSV, not sure about 1st gen or your Voyager. I would think something close to that.
