  1. I thought it was a picture of a bike my half brother had 50 years ago. Geeze I'm old.
  2. Dont have one, but guessing you mean something like this?
  3. I got a Memphis shades clear windshield fairing back for my 900 Kawi, Later I like a couple years they started to make bat wing fairings.
  4. Hope all is negative. Down here where we are, we are about 2 weeks or so behind every where else.
  5. Or go with one of the mini jobs like many cars use now.
  6. When I build my ignition by pass relays I have folks mount them under the tank.
  7. Stickers. See Puc, he can probably hook ya up.
  8. Ya know, probably about the time all this Covid 19 stuff quits being the headlines, it will be time for all the negative political ads to start.
  9. While skilled, luck was with him a great deal. The last 2 times I was on the Dragon I met semi's. One time I was in pretty much a straighter section and he still crowded me. The second and last time I was leaving the restaurant at the bottom and first curve a big rig ran me off the road on the RSV. Some nice folks helped me gather up my bike and nerves and get back going. It ended my nice day of riding. I turned around and went back to where I was staying. I looked up the photo guy and found the truck and company. i emailed them and called and never got so much as a sorry we damn near killed you. No more Dragon for me until they figure out how to ban big trucks off there.
  10. We had a F 150 in the shop from our local Ford dealer a couple weeks back. I had some small azz 2.5 or something in it. Really? I had an Escort wagon with a motor almost that big. But if your just gettin groceries I guess its OK.
  11. Them rock dont look real comfy. Had to go to South Carolina for a USAF school back in the day. A fellow Sgt also was going to the school. So we agreed to take my bike and trailer @ the time. A GS1100. He was from left coast and had never been further east than Oklahoma. He was all eyes on the trip it was fun. On our way back we headed for Talladega Al there was a race that weekend. I had camp gear and we picked a good spot side of a hill. Well it commenced to raining around bed time. About 1 am we woke up and there was a river running thru the tent. Next day we waited around to see if would clear, it didnt so we loaded up and headed to Vicksburg Ms and got a room. Man did it look funny with all that wet gear hanging up around curtain rods, lamps anything high enough to run a rope to dry.
  12. I tried Base Camp and Map Source. I didnt have much luck using either one. Found a program TYRE, but they have went a different direction now last time I looked.
  13. As long as its not a square piston V-4 like the Honda.
  14. I work at a small college here in Fla. WE have been bombed with e-mails about prevention and plans should they be needed. We moved to an online course material this fall, so students will be able to do the book part, but our course requires a certain amount of hands on stuff. We go out on spring break starting Monday for a week. My fear is they will extend it 2 more weeks when we are supposed to come back. Unfortunately for me I am hourly and that makes 3 weeks with no pay. It would be a good time to ride, but you have to have money.
  15. Load rating to me was more important. My Victory had Radials on it when I bought it. It now has bias ply due to cost. Did I notice a difference in handling? Yes but not tons. Check this out Here also
  16. IMOP you cant go wrong with the T6. Full Synthetic and by the gallon its only a couple bucks more. I think rite around $22 bucks at Wally World here.
  17. Aint that crazy? Max tow is a tiny 3.5l when they have a 6.2 gasser in a Raptor. But we had one on loan @ school with the 3.5 turbo I was considering buying. That thing had dang good scoot. Nice truck though. I have had a couple Ford trucks and they have been good. My ole 90 model with the 300 straight six was probably my favorite of the Fords I had.
  18. Dang!! Now I cant un-see that. Happy B-day

    Air?

Funny, I expressed this same theory of China thinning the herd so to speak. Also what a better way to spread germ warfare then to send germs in those bubble packs that SOME people cant stand to leave alone. I hate those dang things popping. It annoys me. I thought that about anthrax years back.
  20. I put TPMS on my Victory. I have a tried and true Accupressure I think it is digital gauge. I know what it has read in past and what pressure I have needed to get good wear. So I use it to set pressures and see what the TPMS shows. It is about 1 or 2 lbs higher reading on TPMS. I dont run the bike manufactures tire pressures. After using those on a Kawaski Vulcan and not getting good wear I contacted Dunlap, come to find out it was lower than what they "recommended" for good wear and traction. Manufactures are more interested in ride than wear. Just something to think about. Maybe try emailing them and see what they recomend. Probably about 3-4lb under max is my guess.
  21. That one may actually be worth more. Victory had some V92 "special editions" I think the only ones that might be worth a little more are the like under 100 number. With like the special edition Vetts and stuff the early number ones and the very last one fetch more. But the bike looks nice.
  22. Of most of the reviews and talking to a few folks that have them and do some trips. I think one of the biggest disappointment is the GPS. With the improvements Indian, HD and the likes have made with infotainment and integration of GPS etc it's kind of a bummer.
  23. That is a puzzler. Maybe someone was in there before? I can see some being trapped in the fork. But not that much. When I did mine I had it up on jacks and let it drain like 2 days into old butter tub and measured. I also went up like one click on the weight. I think 10w OEM spec might be 5w. But would have to go research.
  24. Fancy chrome job @ Autozone.
