  1. In the fridge? I dunno seriously. Maybe something here will hep you out.
  2. Looks like a Honda mini trail 50. Only the motor is missing. So surely instead of the puny 1hp motor your going to upgrade rite?

    130 vs 150

You keep good rubber on them and think it exempts, you. Mine had 1500 miles on it. I must have run over something odd. It cut the tire length wise right in a groove. Once I got tire dismounted and could see how it was cut, I didnt feel safe patching it. To me it looked like when you would accelerate it would be pulling the cut open/ apart. So pitched it. I did thank the,man above for getting me woo'ed down safely.

Check motorcycle superstore. I had the MC2 and loved them. Over 17k on them and had tread left but I was going on a trip and changed them a bit early to avoid any possible issues in rain loaded. Be sure to shop around including shipping.

I had my OH S#/÷ moment a few weeks back. Luckly I was only about 45. Something just didnt feel right. Stopped and sure enough I could see the rear was soft. Made it about 80ft or so to a driveway and she was flat. I had stuff to plug it and made it home. But it was a scary deal.
  7. Old habits are hard to change. Im on blue.
  8. I dont know. she hasn't told me yet.
  9. The C2 has more groves that "criss cross" the tire than the E3. That is why I liked the C2 better. In rain I did not feel as stable as with the E3. The dunlaps are a good tire, dont get me wrong, but the tread pattern on the C2 is better at getting water out from under the wheel to me. C2
  10. Hmm so will it run at say 60mph? Does it accelerate up thru the bottom gears Ok. I have read of heavier doses of seafoam fouling plugs out. Migh be worth pulling the plugs and clean and setting them. I think I would start there. If cleaning plugs dont fix it look to fuel supply, filter first and then the pump.
  11. I just changed from the narrower front C2 to a oem size in a Shinko. After having my MC2 on for over 17k I had to kind of re-learn to ride. I like the C2 tires and would probably spend the bucks to go back when the Shinkos are done. For a less expensive tire the Shinkos are not bad. But need to see what kind of milage they will go. Also the C2 has a higher weight rating than most tires for the 2nd gen.
  12. Yea I bet that was not a one take shoot.
  13. Huh? What was the question again, I forgot. Excersize, never mind I dont want any.
  14. Put your other glasses on.
  15. I use a couple of 2x4 pieces to keep the disc from contacting the ground. So you lay those down and place the rim on it, then a longer 2x4 with a piece of a 2x2 against the bead of tire. I put one end under the hitch on the truck and make a fulcrum. The short piece of wood contacts the bead and you push down on the 2x4 with your weight. it should pop the bead. Then you need a couple of long tire spoons about $9 @ harbor freight I think and a couple rim savers. Plastic pieces that slip on rim so you dont gouge them with the spoons. Or you can split some gas line and use it. Then once its mounted up I put dyna beads in and away you go. The rear takes more time because you have to take the exhaust and bags etc off.
  16. Well depending on how long its been "left over" you may want to rethink you process. Brake fluid is notoriously bad for absorbing moisture from the atmosphere even if capped tightly. A pint of DOT4 from autozone is only about $5 And I can make a pint do a complete front rear and clutch bleed.
  17. Mike, I go back and forth. I have a set of slash cut HD touring muffs. They are OK around town and short trips of maybe an hour or so around here. A couple years ago when I first got them I thought "man these are great". Then took a 1800 mile trip up to NC with them thru the mountains and long freeway stretches. When I got home I couldnt wait to get them off. My ears rang for days and I wore earbuds the whole trip. So I go back and forth, if I know I have a long trip coming up I switch them out.
  18. I always look forward to the first ride of the year also. Usually around Jan 1. Year around riding down here too.

    207 MPH Bicycle

And I thought the the other day was fast.
  20. Seaking: WOW glad to hear you finally got that sorted out. You did leave the by-pass relay installed after the new switch showed up right? I was amazed when we talked about your crummy run of luck of one thing after another going bad.
  21. Not sure and would have to check, but I think I have a 16gb card in my 765T.

    NOV.11th

Yea I might have to go take one of the fine establishments up on their offer. the boss is out of town for a couple days on business. But thanks to the rest of my brothers in arms also for their service. I know some of you all gave up a heck of a lot more than I did, but most of us wouldnt trade our service for anything.
  23. Yea sometimes there is a limits as to how much and what definition card will be recognized. Like a digital camera we have will only accept or recognize I think its a 32gb card in up to HD format. It will not see the SHD or whatever the newer card is.
  24. It sounds real close to what my 09 would do. Only mine was when you would switch from main to reserve. If you got it early it seemed, the pump would be fine. If you let it go until it missed quite a bit, the pump wouldn't catch. Almost like it got hot and had to cool off a bit. After it almost got me run over twice, I installed a Mr Gasket. but yours is still under warranty. Maybe explain to the dealer the issue all of us have figured out on the fuel pumps. Take them a couple of pictures, you know point them in the direction and see if they will check it out. you need to let the dealer at least take a stab at it. Oh and you may wiggle in something like "if this happens to me and someone gets hurt, the next guy in here will be lawer" or something like that if you get a noncommittal response to looking at it. Unfortunately most dealers are not real familiar with the RSV/TD bikes. Even though there have been 10's of thousands of them sold.
  25. Some nice deals on large cabins up in North Carolina. Some have lofts with sleeping quarters, Pool tables and hot tubs. Take a day trip over to Marrie Valley or Ashville and the Biltmore Estate.
