I too hate white walls. If tires I bought have them I mount them inboard. Back in the day when white letters were the style I couldnt afford them. So I used white model paint and letered them up.

Signs at all entrances I know of say no pedestrians. So if they do happen to get in the way I dont think I'll fell much more than a bump in the road.

Yea I read about that today on Yahoo. No matter what they do to this drunk, it wont help their families. Like the jerk up in New Hampshire or wherever it was that clobbered all those folks from Laconia.

My experience with the Buddy Rich cable wasnt good. I bought one when I first got my RSV. I dont think I ever got it to work great. After several years we just went with SENA.

Radio remote control housing.

Radio shack sells what they call project box you might be able to fabricate one up. -
Depending where your at you may need to add an air dryer. Otherwise air could have enough moisture in it to clog. I bought one of their media blasters. Little hand held job that uses like walnut shells ground up.

So is it a gasser or diesel? My 12 is a 5.7. Just couldnt see my way to pay way more for a diesel with almost 3 times the miles thats on mine.

+1 on the Michelins. Probably the best tires I ever ran on the RSV. Tons of miles. With that being said I ran some Shinkos also. Never had issue with them either. Not the miles of the MC2, but not the cost either. I would run either ones again and I have on the Victory. Currently I think I am running Continentals on the Vic. If you ride lots of miles in a year I would say the MC2. If your say 10k a year I might stay with Shinkos. That way you'll mileage them out before they age crack possibly.

What ever the manufacture recommends. Are you sure it is a balance issue and not a shimmy side wobble kind of thing. I can say I have had the venture to "above posted" speed limts and not had any issues, same with the Victory. I dont stay there long for an endurance check or anything, but say to blend in with traffic or get the hey out of the way of a knucklehead or 2.

I have used the beads since about 2008. 3 different bikes of different weights and loads and no problems. I now have TPMs on the Victory and couldnt run the liquid stuff. If the tire has a lateral issue I dont think lead, steel or anything else is going to help that.It would be like the sidewall separating.

I have ran the section from Franklin to where it connects up by the 4 lane up by Bryson City I think. Anywho nothing really along there to stop and see, But it sure is a nice drive.

I used a Boosteroo. Had to wire in a 12v to 3v adapter or something to go from 12v to whatever battery input it wanted. Worked great. I still use it in my pick up now for input of aux

Glad you got away with that one. Look like right side damage to me. Anywho thats one of the reasons I run a modulator on my headlight. If you cant see that you probably shouldnt be driving. That excuse must be taught to cagers when they get their licence.

I agree the Shinko for a less expensive tire and my best wear front was a Michelin. Either ran well and on the 2nd gen I liked the little taller tire for handling. Puc I also was one of those guys that learned on split rims. First shop we didnt have a cage, so we would throw it on ground and use the rack. Then I worked at a Firestone dealer and we had the local school bus contract. Some weeks I would have close to dozen or more a week, plus my regular work on lube rack and car tires. Oh and that was during the big Radial 500 (junk) swap to 721 (les junkey) fiasco.

Thanks for some info. I bought an indoor antenna that is supposed to get out 80 miles. I am about 60 or 70 as crow flys from Tampa area so should be good eh? Not so much. But I do get like 3 or 4 decent stations should interweb go out, like during a hurricane. That was kind of my object I get an ABC, MeTV and couple more like that. Oh yea and some spanish speaking ones that do me no good. I checked into the You Tube TV and cant get channels I would like. One of the channels I really would like is MavTV, they have lots of auto racing stuff from short tracks around the US. Hard to find any package that has that one. We are not Netflix watch a series kind of folks. Just dont do the binge thing. We do watch mostly network stuff and HGTV and Food network. I grew to like Smithsonian until Crumcast jacked the rates up. One thing about VPN is keeps your cable company from being in your bussiness and knowing what your doing. Also helps from hackers getting into your stuff. I have read some articles where folks were streaming and their provider slowed their service down or some other sneaky pete stuff. They know your using data but not what your using it for. Dont have a prime account anymore. So it's still up in air what we will do. My son is researching some options too. Puc lived over in the Thumb for a few years in my teens with my older brother. Little bitty place, Sandusky Mi not the other one. So we were miles from any big town. Antenna and a rotary and a booster. We had channels from Detroit, Windsor, Flint, Saginaw. Use to have pieces of tape on dial to remind ya where what was. LOL

"Good deals" are very far and few between. I spent over a year looking for a 2011 or newer F250 4wd gasser under a certain price and not have 200k or more. My second choice was a Dodge 2500 crew 4wd. A diesel in those I would go for as I had one previously, bet all those had 300k and they still though they were worth 20k. So I ended up with a 2012 Ram 2500 4wd crew with a 5.7 gas. A 6.4 would have been better but it works for me. My theory is if its meant to be it will happen. There is a bigger force at work here than we understand. Just go with it. The 5.9 dodge was a good push rod motor (360) The 4.7 in a 1500 imop is a bit small, ok in a Dakota/Durango. Early 5.7 in 1500 with MDS have some reports of lifter failures but you know how that goes too. Those with problems squeal the loudest.

So I'm thinking pretty seriously about dumping my high dollar cable. I was on 200mb service and good channel selection, but I was on a "deal" for 191 a month. It ran out and the bill was going to be close to $225. So I cut speed and channels and got it down to a manageable $150ish. My son has messed with firestick some and got us one a few months back, but I haven't worked with it much. Beel looking at streaming services as you really can get much for channels "free" on the sticks, you have to use some kind of service be it Hulu, You Tube TV or something like that. I am looking at a service called GearsTVHD. Great channel selection for stuff we like to watch and @ 20 a month its a way cheaper option. But the recommended like all the stream services I have checked to run a VPN. So I know some of you all are running stream for TV are you running a VPN and if so do you have any recommendations? Droping the TV part of cable and keeping 100mb internet would be like $80 month, and $20 for the stream service and the VPN runs about 8 or 10 depending on who ya go with. But the plan is to split the cost of the service and VPN with my son as we can have like 5 connected devices. Any help or info would be helpful.

Everytime I have to buy tires for the bike its a 2 week minimum research program. The place I bought last year may not be the best price this year. Just takes time. One of the last times maybe 2 times ago I think the best price came from a company in England. I thought that was crazy, but I guess when the drop ship them it dont matter.

I guess I have been under a rock or just not paying attention much. Anywho I'm on J&P e-mail and also Cycle Gear. Recently there has been a fundraiser for 3 or so non-profits. Anyways I got 2 emails today and both had about the same heading. I thought that kind of odd, of course there were "specials" in the email also. When I saw a Bilt helmet for sale @ J&P it got me to looking because previously Bilt was available only @ CG. Sure enough Parent company of Cycle Gear bought out J&P in January. A couple years back J&P bought out Motorcycle Superstore. Just did some Google Wikipedia look up and basically there is only this company which now is Revzilla, Cycle Gear, Tucker Rocky, Motorcycle Super Store and J&P. So not much competition, they pretty much have bought it all out. Which partially explains why my good tire deals I use to find at Motorcycle Superstore went away.

I have been using Bohannon Battery over in north east Fla for last 3 or 4 batteries. Best prices I have seen in lower 48. $44 bucks is a smoking deal, I think my last one was just shy of $100 USD.

What the heck did Chris do to these idiots? I have heard about the defacing of Columbus statues and am shaking my head. These hoodlums just want to destroy stuff. Especially if it aint theirs. If they really feel that they are that mistreated, MOVE. Then city officials are getting so marshmellow and afraid to take a stand to protect the law abiding folks that put them in office.

Good score Don. Yea the "closed on Monday" thing seems to be pretty much nation wide from my experience. I dunno why maybe because open on Sat and need a 2 day off thing. I have seen a couple of Indians I sort of like but they have all that fringe stuff. I dont get it. I have asked a couple guy with Chieftains and asked them "hey how do you clean that stuff after you ride in the rain?" Usual answer? "Ride in rain?" Enjoy and ride when ya can. Sundays to get a burger or a shake.

So I'm surfin the net here and watchin a show on NBCsn. Detroit Muscle, these 2 guys are doing a "build" on a Crown Vic. Swapped out all suspension springs, sway bars and rear links. Swapped gears to lower ratio and a few other things. Only tool used to tighten things? A Matco impact. Never said anything about torquing anything. Just ratatatt. Now thats impressive for people to think they can do this on their own.
