  1. Well at least its the rite color. lol They are nice scoots enjoy
  2. Here you go. Check this thread out. #5 shows some decent pics that may help you out.
  3. No wonder they way 60lb a piece.
  4. I have one like this. If you got room it works. Worst filter I have ever had to get off was a factory installed job on a mercury version of a Ford Escort. On back of motor, on so tight I destroyed the filter with a screw driver thru it a couple times until it twisted the end off basically. I ended up with a small chisel and at the hard metal ring by engine driving the ring around to loosen.
  5. Hmm I'm guessing not on his head. My mom always said I was hard headed, but somehow me thinks the concrete is going to win. Said to see stuff like this.
  6. I wonder what in the heck he was hauling in those bags to kill them like that. Bricks?
  7. You will still need to fix the cracks but I think there is some sort of flexable bondo sort of stuff now they use on these new car noses being they are sort of a rubber based thing. Maybe on that bottom crack that is so big a piece of metal and a rivet or 2 to hold sides together. Although the guys that have done the plastic weld stuff say its as tuff as it was orginaly. Good thing is you have a line there between the red and black totape off and blend to.
  8. Valve core out is best. Less restriction to flow of oil. Plus you dont have to hold them down any way to bleed air out or get oil in. Sure is a dang small hole to work with though. I thought about pulling them out (the brass looking piece) and hope had a bigger hole to bleed thru.

    GPS Help

Base camp was about as ez to follow as IRS instructions. For my simple mind it sucked. I used Streets and Maps prior to owning my Garmin. Mine is like 2009 and will not convert to anything that will download to my 765t. I found TYRE easier to figure out and FREE. So if you cant figure it out it dont cost you a dime. You should be able to find it with a search "trace your route everywhere".
  10. I dont think anybodys "attack" are meant to be harmful. Like Brakepad said though. The new RSV thing has been "promised" ffor so long with no delivery, its like listening to a politician.
  11. Its a slow process to get oil in. You have to remember to get XX amount of fluid in, that much air has to come out. And if you dont have a vent for that air it aint goin in.
  12. Does the engine rev up with out gaining much speed? Sounds like it could be a clutch slipping.
  13. 2011 may have been about first year for the I pod
  14. Cover your bases. Contact Yamaha yourself also. Make sure they know you have had it back multiple times. I have had some friends that had intermitent problems with something on a car and the dealer keeps "fixing" it until out of warrenty. Then your hosed.
  15. I just got Y cable and plugged it in under the fairing on the right side where the cassette deck plugs into the rest of the audio stuff.
  16. I hve mine lowered 3/4" I measured mine from top of the tube to the top of the triple tree. OEM setting is fork all the way down in triple tree, there where the air cap is. So thats where I measured the drop. Dont guess it matters, just so its same on both sides.
  17. first guess would be its getting moisture in the connectors under the fairing. Dielectric grease. But I agree, make the dealer fix it first if you still have warrenty.
  18. I have many a mile on the US 27 south from my place here in Sebring to Homestead. I almost always turned off there at 997 and went by the big casino in the middle of no where. LOL Slow going once you get to 997 and US 41 crossing though, lots of big trucks and narrowish roads. I see by your map I go a different way down. I cut over right where 997 starts there.
  19. I have a splitter installed that runs to the same place as the aux on cassette deck. Under fairing.
  20. Everytime I see this thread pop up I keep trying to figure one out. Still no luck.
  21. Phone connection is via bluetooth. The GPS has a 2.5 mm jack that feeds the mic. Now I will say I have not tried mine without the phone its self plugged in to the aux input to listen to pandora. So possibly with the jack plugged in forthat somehow it buggers the thing up.
  22. Was sorry to hear about you. Here is a page of attornies up your way. You can take a look see and decide. I put in "north carolina motorcycle accident attorney"
  23. Sorry to hear this. Prayers sent. And I dont think he has been in place long enough to even get settled yet.
  24. A large syringe from like fleet and farm they have for large animal vacinations.
