  1. Yea I thought that was a bit high. I have most of the parts to build up a 5 pin to 3.5mm ear bud adapter if you want one. I would just need to figure up some costs.
  2. Yep thats the ticket. Only half the time I forget to buy those and just end up using the heat shrink. LOL
  3. For grins if you have one around try the "Tide stick". A fellow I was talking to at a car show said he had got some stains out of a convertible top with it.
  4. For my bumpers I used some "rubber expansion nuts" from home depot. I think 6 or 8 32 thread. Fit space good, just touches the fork. Threaded end against support bracket.
  5. I might suggest covering your terminals once all finished with some heat shrink so nothing can short them out. Just an idea to insulate.
  6. WOW Got all the good out of that one I guess.
  7. If you look closely on most all the HID and LED bulbs they are made in China. Just some fellows import a bunch of them at one time and have them ready for delivery.
  8. Well thats discouraging. I made my spacers 3/4" hoping to get it out far enough. OH well other than the couple bucks for the bolts I aint out no money.
  9. 3. Composition/information on ingredientsMixturesChemical name Common name and synonyms CAS number %Propylene Glycol Methyl Ether 20-40% Solvent Naphtha (petroleum), LightAliph. 20-40% Dipropylene Glycol MonomethylEther 10-20% Hexylene Glycol 10-20% Isopropyl Alcohol 2.5-10% Propane 2.5-10% From the MSDS for product. Bet it makes a good BOOM
  10. I dont know if its going to work. But I just got longer bolts and made some longer spacers. I notice Sloroll bracket is offset lower also.
  11. IMOP you have done a couple things here. One you have figured out that this is not a group you probably want to participatqe with much. Also you have reminded us all to watch for signs of poor practices. One of my peep pives about bike rallys and poker runs is somewhere along the line alchol figures in. Now dont get me wrong, I like an adult beverage as well as others. Now I dont think a fellow having a cold one @ a linch stop is terrible. But all to often its more than that. And I personally dont like the odds being stacked against US riders, regaurdless of skill set. I have not found a group where I am at that I am real comfortable riding with or want to spend days on the road. Now I will say I have not rode with any VR folks any long distances yet so that dont count. Its tuff to find a good riding buddy. Mine passed away a year ago this August from cancer. Enjoy your rides.

I use non-amonia window cleaner and detail spray wax.
  13. Yup found this. Although no exact date your ball park. Thats about when I thought, I was thinking 72.
  14. Didnt somewhere around 70 the US gov make Britt bikes put the shift/brake stuff on the same side as everyone else? I seem to remember riding a friends twin Triumph and it had correct controls. I want to say actually the way they did it was cross over linkages under the bike. Now the 250 Bultaco I took off flyiing down a trail on and didnt remember the bacwards controls, thats a different out come.
  15. Couple nice Jack and Ginger ales before bed time will help. I suffer the same thing before a trip. I guess you want to get going. But if you dont have a good nites rest the day before...........
  16. Well yesterday I went to look for my old pump to see if it actually has a check valve or not. As luck for me goes right now its playing hide and go seek.
  17. Yea I think there is a small red light in the CB button that will be on.
  18. Yup thats what I remember about my years in Oklahoma. Riding those years in the "dry heat". LOL Hot is hot. Oven or steamer you still cook, so pick your poison I guess.
  19. Was over in Daytona @ the speedway yesterday. 106 or something heat index and we were sitting in alum bleachers watching some races. MAN when you would get off the bleachers it seemed 10 deg cooler.
  20. Spent the day with my son. Picked him up @ 630 am and we drove up to Daytona to see a Global Rally Cross race. Took the truck because I knew it was going to be over 100 deg heat index, (final read when we were leaving was 108) We had a good time and enjoyed it. Its good to spend time with him now even though he is grown and go his own kiddos. But those are for my wife I think.
  21. The tranmitt button on the left handle bar. If I'm not mistaken when you are using the CB and want to transmit it "knocks" out the radio. I personally dont know as I have never used the CB. But it stands to reason. SO maybe the button is stuck in XMIT.
  22. I did the write up, so I got the Mr Gasket. I still have my oem and on another board we are having the check valve discussion also. If I can remember tomorrow Im going to check and see if I can determine weather or not there actuall is a ck valve or not.
  23. Run them bad boys up @ 40-41 lb and you should get many many miles out of them. like12-15k or more.
  24. Steve, let me know if you need anything. So far I still have mine. LOL
