Charlene is out of surgery and in her room keeping me running helter skelter..........but thats what I am here for. She is doing well, doc removed 2 discs and inserted a plate with 6 screws. Said she will be good to go, she had one that was really bad and that was the trouble spot but he cleaned it all up and gave her a very good prognosis. She might be going home tomorrow, wow day after major surgery on her neck and going home the day after...............Thanks for all your prayers. We are very greatfull for all the VR family........... .

Here we go again, Charlene is having more surgery, on her neck this time, she has 3 ruptured discs, going to have 2 of them removed and have some donor bone, cages, a plate and 6-8 screws put in. This is one we weren't expecting but after she had her hip replaced and her spinal surgery she was still having numbness and pain being caused by the bad disc. She is going back to Emory Hospital in Tucker, Ga. They are very good at what the do, I highly reccomend them to anyone who may need any kind of orthopedic surgery done. -

All the snow fell to the North of Newnan,we had a little, but what we mostly got was sleet, and freezing rain, as you can see by the pics nobody driving on this street all that white stuff is solid ice now......The only tracks are those made by my dog and I when we went for a walk early while it was still sleeting.........now when you walk you have to be very carefull...............:starz:

To all my VR family just stopped by to drop a short note to wish everyone a Prosperous and Happy New Year. Charlene and I left the cold and still some snow ground of Newnan to visit friends and family in S. Louisiana, weather was great when we got here, visited with old friends and family in the NOLA area then headed up to my sons in Albany, La. Now we have heavy rains for the rest of the weekend. On Sunday we head to Pensacola, Fla to visit Charlene's brother-in-law who is recupping from extnesive cancer surgery. Hope everyone has a safe and happy New Year........... !!!!!!

I have had Sirius since 2006 and love it on the bikes and in my van, I had a Sirius Inv on my bikes, swapping it from one to the other. I use the mount :bighug:that came with my Inv and it works great. My Inv went out and now I cant find another one to replace it. If anyone has one of the smaller ones they wish to part with I would be interested in having it, they just dont have them anywhere I look, Ebay, Sirius, they say they are out of stock, and have been for quite some time, I dont think they are making them anymore. Ruffy, not trying to hijack your thread, but since it was about Sirius, thought this would be a good place to inquire.

Mine has been parked for some time, she is resting up for her winter project, gonna strip it down to the frame and remove the 83 tranny from it and drop in an 86. First I have to remove the tranny from that motor, this will allow me to go to school on it. So my V Star will be getting a lot of miles on it till I get it finished.

I originally joined just after getting my 83 in Oct. 2004. Dont remember the actual date, but I was member number 255, that is until the crash..........:dancefool:
