I would definitely buy it, but funds are tight, it looks to be perfect no cracks in the bottom which is pretty common and the bottom corners of the top look to be uncracked, they all crack:starz: there sooner or later................

Congratulations to the both of you...........hope you enjoy many happy years and miles together.............

Such a beautiful little girl, and that is the reason why I strive so hard to help St. Jude as much as I can, I have 3 beautiful grandsons and we would be devastated if anything like this ever happened to them. Thanks for your support..................:thumbsup2:

Well, I wish I would have thought of this idea sooner, but better late than never. Everywhere you go people are sporting those colored rubber or silicone bracelets showing there support for the troops, their favorite charity and so on. Well now you can show your support for the Kids at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. I just ordered 200 of those bracelets so we can proudly show our support for those Kids. Hopefully they will be in by the time Vogel rolls around. They will be available first at Vogel, then if there are any left over, I will make them available to everyone. If the demand is there I will order more. The cost to show your support will be $5.00 each. All this will go to the Kids at St. Jude, this hopefully will help us push our donation to them over the top. They are going to be blue and will have "CRUSIN' FOR THE KIDS" on it. I can't wait to get mine and show my support.

Well I lasted exactly 2 days back to work after my bout of Pneumonia before I had to go back to the E/R, this time the chest pains were so, so bad, we thought it was the big one, I have never had pain so excrutiating ever before, so back we went to the ER. This time things didnt go as smoothly as the last time, got there just before the changing of shifts and to complicate matters, they started looking at all the results from my last visit one week ago and were ready to discharge me before the even did chest x-rays and had all the blood tested. We,Charlene and I told them I havent even had any meds yet, how can you discharge me with all this pain and trouble breathing. They said all the test were good and that the xrays ............Wrong I told them that they haven't done one damn thing yet, they were looking at old test. Then another doctor came in and started all over again. Take more blood since the other was still sitting on the cart, it went bad. Didnt like this one either, he seemed to be in a hurry to get rid of me till Charlene started asking it they tested for this and that, he left and came back later and said he did as she asked and everything looked good. It wasnt my heart, or my gall bladder or any other organ, no blood clot in the lungs or a collasped lung. What I had was still Pneumonia complicated by plusiary What really mad me mad is all they did for me was give me a bunch of pain killers to stop the pain but no antibiotics by IV like they did last time.......just more prescriptions and no work, so now I go back to my Dr. on Monday and see what they say. Life stinks right now, I am so tired of being sick, I actually miss work, and I cant work on the 1st gen right now, and time is running out to get it ready by Vogel. End of Rant............

Why get rid of a perfectly good bike you have already made your own, I love my 1300 and wouldnt think of parting with it, I still have a couple of mods I still want to do, but with cash in short supply they will have to wait. I am working on getting the 83 back in top notch running order and with those 2 bikes thats all I will need for riding. Shrink your stable, and really do some far out mods:mo money: to the 1300 or one of the other bikes.............There is so much you can do to it to really make it stick out............11,000.00, now thats quite a bankroll to work with, because you know if you but the Strat, you wont be satisfied with it as it sits..............:stirthepot: Seeya at Vogel.................

Tail of the Dragon @ Vogel V Aug. 17-21, 2011 Wed..........Registration starts at 12:00 pm. Dinner ride to Fatz in Blairsville. We ate there last year and had a great time eating great food. Thursday...... Hopefully have 3 different rides planned, you pick the one you want to do. 1. Ride to Helen for shopping, tubing, and lunch. 2. Ride to Bryson City to raft on the Natahala River. 3. Not Decided yet, open to suggestions. Friday...... The theme ride for the event. The Tail of the Dragon, always fun. Saturday.........Eck has planned a very nice ride for those who want to ride to Helen and beyond, due to be back at the park around 2-3 pm for the festivities, or take the day to lounge around the park, play mini golf, get your bike carb tuned, take a ride of your choice. Around 2-3 pm Catered meal served at shelter # 3. Then we will have drawings for door prizes, raffle drawing for prizes and cash. Thats it in a nutshell, I hope this helps some people decide and send in registrations and buy some raffle tickets. Remember all profits from this event are going to the Kids at St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis, Tn. And there is a ride for that in October. Well I finally finished phase 1 of my tranny swap. A couple of weeks ago Jamie aka Wingman came over and helped me remove the engine from the frame, everything was already removed, all I had was the engine and frame. I really owe MasterGuns a big thank you for donating the 86 for the cause........THANKS GUNNY. After we got it up on the bench, we called it a day and today I finally got around to cracking the cases and looking inside the case. Everything looks really good to me but Im no expert but all the teeth look good and no wear showing. Next week I will move the 83 out to my shop and start disassembling it, That should take me a day or so, I need to be careful with it because it was just painted last year and dont want to mess that up. I was glad to have the 86 to go to school on, it will make it much easier to do the 83 when I get around to it. I did notice some changes to the 86 clutch that were made since 83. I was hoping to use the clutch plates on mine but may not be able to.

If you are planning on coming to Vogel, it would be a great, great help to have your registration in by the deadline that I must place the shirt and patch order. That date is July 24, 2011. As of this date 7/2/11 I have only received 11 registrations. Normally by this time prior to Vogel I have aprox. 75% of the total registrations in. If you are not certain but there is a chance, it would be a great help if you could go to the poll and indicate there that you are coming, that does not commit you or cost you but will be a great help to getting a head count. I must order the shirts and patches by 7/25/11. I will be ordering about double of what the count is, so there might be extras available if you have to make a last minute decision. They are fantastic, I somehow ended up with 4 of them, 2 are very early bulky models that I use in my cages and the other two are very small units, that I use on my bike, now swithching radios around. Never intended to own that many but it happened...........
